2x2

I think that 1024x1024 is good enough

Would that not scale correctly?
Is most album art not displayed as multiples of 200 or 300?

I saw some album art on the internet being 1024x1024 and since the most common ratio is 1:1 I don't see any problems.

The most common I find seems to be 1200x1200, 1425x1425, 1500x1500 and 2048x2048.

Is albumartexchange the best place?

I'm not familiar with any other website that scans albums desu.

>Is albumartexchange the best place?
Only for super popular bands, and even in that domain Fanart.tv is much better.

500x500

objectively 1000x1000

Meant for

Does anyone have a high res png for Radio 4 - Gotham? It's driving me nuts, it's the only cover in my library that's a bad scan

This is a touchy subject, desu.

Obviously you want a high resolution, but since you are embedding the image into the mp3 IDE tags it will increase the filesize of all your files. As time goes on and we get higher DPI devices, 500x500 just wont cut it. Hell, even 1000x1000 barely cuts it on a 4k device.

This is further exacerbated by absolute FUCKING MORONS at spotify that make the album art zoom-to-fit on your device and crop the rest off. Look at this shit. Its blurry as fuck and I cant even see all the album art! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING??

my nigga

>Does anyone have a high res png for Radio 4 - Gotham?
Does it really need to be a png?

why can't you just google it instead of wasting everyones time begging like a peasant?

No I can convert it, my music player can't read jpegs for some reason

pleb, the golden resolution is 800x800
