Our cities (especially northern italy) are not gentrified so it's pretty difficult to distinguish rich/poor neighborhoods, they all look fucking shit and poor.

middle class and above bretty nice
Expected inequality
We don't divide ourselves like that here. You'll find all of the above in every city and village in a random fashion.
the low class doesn't really look low class and the upper class doesn't really look upper class.
welcome to Europe.
Besides the upkeep on the public housing, these places all look of similar socio-economic status. Intredasting. Portugal is not how I imagined it.
Unsure if you made this idea for a thread as I barely come onto Sup Forums, if you did, fucking nice dude
Is Europe full of gated communities? Surprised to see them in all walks of life in Portugal and Italy.
>gated communities
what? it's the opposite.
Sorry, I'm tired and probably enunciated that poorly. Your examples (and OP's) show most properties having gates and high fences and visible surveillance gear.
lower class american ghetto
yeah it's normal to have fences delimitating your property here, the new world way with one big lawn per block doesn't really exist here.
I don't know about surveillance gear to be honest, I don't see much save from gates.
It's commonplace in Australia for people to have fences in their backyard to divide blocks, but only in certain areas will people have gates and fences outside the front of their houses. We don't have much crime and I usually biasedly look towards crime as the main reason for fences and gates. When I see a whole neighbourhood like that, I think of South Africa, not Europe desu.
looks comfy
clean and comfy
Why middle class houses remind me british architecture?
well you can think whatever you please but crime is not the reason for fences, it's just how it is here.
A nice fence and wall can also look very nice especially with a nice flower garden behind it.
thick walls and/or fences always remind me of richer neighbourhoods in poor countries
Don't take offense to it my lovely wogerino, was just having some bants. You have a beautiful country. Besides Naples.

That shit is so eerie.
Naples is pleb filler for new worlders, it's absolutely shit to live in but it can be stunning in some places when you visit, Milan is the real city to avoid if you come here for holidays,
It's not for crime, we like to define our private property from public space, those fences can be easily climbed by anyone. It's another way to make your house unique.
Skidrow, California
>shit tier
I thought Milan was nice. Rome and Pisa were gyppo paradise which I'm not used to. Naples was a bit eerie with obvious mob control.
gypsies are cancer but we are at fault for not containing them, Rome really is gyppo wonderland.

Perhaps typing more words in the reply would make the system think this is nnot a spam? Still doesn't seems to work...What the F happening in Sup Forums's spam filter????
The only people living in that are homeless junkies.
Also in Germany is like that tho, only the anglos don't have fences at front
If it's in the front yard here it usually means you live in the ghetto. The only thing worse is bars on the windows.
>Upper class
They live in penthouses so it can be any condo

At least they're not simple copies for miles on end like ours are. Not a single one of those houses looks the same as their neighbours.

Those all looked like commieblocks João
The common theme here seems to be that money buys privacy. Liberals need to stop whining about urban sprawl, when people start having a bit of success in life they gravitate towards detached houses on suburban lots, and we don't need poorfag hippies trying to stand in our way or tell us that this is wrong.
Oh no, Armando from USA is here :/
the new trend here among richies is buying an apartment in the city
picrelated is the most expensive neighborhood in Europe, no privacy at all
You're Italian, you know damn well OP's neighborhoods look uncomfy and ugly as fuck. About to post some of my own.

Live in ghetto is dangerous?
Btw i love american architecture, everything is symmetric af.
Yes, it's where New Orleans gets its insane crime rates from. If you ignored the East, New Orleans would have crime on par with a fairly small city (still some, but nothing insane). The poor all congregate there which just leads to more small gangs (there are no crips and bloods here because there are too many smaller gangs already established, lol) and violence.
>Btw i love american architecture, everything is symmetric af
We have tons of architectural influence in New Orleans. French, Spanish, and American. I think it's a good city for fans of architecture.
>America
>First world
I heard that if you leave home at night this is not reccomended in US is it true? It's possible to "get shot" after come to wrong neighborhood or it just meme? Can you compare New Orleans to other US cities?
>We have tons of architectural influence in New Orleans. French, Spanish, and American. I think it's a good city for fans of architecture.
I was meant symmetric streets in your country, similar thing i saw in Australia and Canada.
>I heard that if you leave home at night this is not reccomended in US is it true?
Generally in cities people avoid walking around at night unless it's in a busy area, like in parts of New York, and even then it's generally avoided. Only in towns will you find people leaving their doors unlocked, walking around at night.
>It's possible to "get shot" after come to wrong neighborhood or it just meme?
The bigger concern is getting robbed at gunpoint, but in New Orleans especially people often get shot while being robbed so it's definitely a concern. You're more likely to be left alone but your chances of being robbed increase by a lot at night if you step into the wrong neighborhood.
>Can you compare New Orleans to other US cities?
Crime's been getting worse here since our mayors are huge fucking retards that put housing projects (welfare housing) next to historic areas like the French Quarter and nice neighborhoods like Touro Bouligny. Like I said, most of our crime is concentrated out in the East, but New Orleans proper is a pretty dangerous city overall.
thanks for answer friend
No problemo m8

It looks like a nice place to live, on both sides.
Looks pretty nice actually
Northeast and northern Brazil is very poor, so the average is very low.

Tell me about Ragusa, does the fact that it was an independent republic for centuries show in its culture or is it basically just like any other region of Croatia?
Also, if I learned Slovenian, would I be able to communicate in Croatia, or would it be better to learn Croatian if I want to communicate with both Croats and Slovenes?
Interesting thread.
why is England so goddamn perfect?
It is?

Something like this.
The low right pic isn't from google maps because it's just not there atm btw.
top right is super comfy, I stayed in something like that in russia. the whole street was sunny and lined with trees, cobblestone road, really nice
Those houses are still there only because inhabitants and authorities can't agree about resettlement though. They build low-middle and middle commieblocks everywhere instead of those barracks.
How much for a low-class flat for a month?
>Big fences
That's how you can detect third-world. Same thing here.

Fuck that's quite a lot. I thought it would be cheaper there.
