THE RETARDED ONE IS AT IT AGAIN
>In full damage control mode
>Claims Ajax as a prestige Champion's League team that should've never been allowed to move into the Europa League

What is he trying to gain from this?

that's a big jacket

>Mourinho insists that a club should not be able to play in both competitions, saying: ‘They are a Champions League team, they come from the Champions League. I always disagree with it.

How does he mean by it?

>What is he trying to gain from this?
he's already excusing his shit team and tactics in case he gets stomped by ajax, classic mouyes, always a loser

FOR YOU

literally nobody would watch the EL if have decent teams weren't dumped in after the groups

He means ManU needs lower tier competition and he considers Ajax to be right up there with Barcelona, RM and Bayern.

>What is he trying to gain from this?
hype, attention, false belief.

He's getting them.

Based mou with the mindgames

A loser with more trophies than any other manager in the game.

>Ajax haven't made a CL final in 2 decades

those are high dubs

Mourinho sits down to lunch with Rui Faria every day to discuss what he can say that will piss people off the most.

Right now. Ferguson has more than him. Besides that doesn't mean that right now he's worth shit

Can't wait for an inevitable meltdown and him getting sacked like in Chelsea.

imagine how shit he is that he's still a loser with all those titles lmao

>asspain

Most despicable coach in the game.

You just know he's going to make the final a total snorefest.

He's right tbf
Actually most people think the CL clubs dropping down to the EL is a bad system

>You just know he's going to make the final a total snorefest.
The worst hing about this is the people who will be surprised when he does

He said nice things about Ajax too, idk why people are focusing on the Europa League bit

>I don't think these very good young players go by luck to Ajax. The scouting system has to be very good, the education system has to be very good.

Literally no one would watch EL if it wasn't for this.

its true isn't it? this isn't really mindgames. that rule where the 3rd team in a CL group makes EL renders the whole competition pointless, renders the group stage pointless for a team. imagine if you're a team that makes it legitimately like PAOK or Hapoel Beer Sheva. Happy because you qualified, happy cause you made it through the underratedly tough group stages. Then what happens? You got drawn with Schalke or Roma or Ajax and you get destroyed. What was the point of the whole exercise? I do agree with that. Leave EL for the EL clubs

No one watches the EL anyway

The teams that actually get sent down are the ones from Russia/Cyprus/Netherlands/Turkey aka the leagues that really shouldn't be given a CL spot in the first place. A 5th place EPL or La Liga team is probably equal to their champions

The EL is more fun and has a lot less refball.

Money, they all make a lot of money

Besides, major European league clubs that failed to qualify for the CL would wipe the floor with them eventually.

Stay mad, la'.
Still one of the few clubs that managed to treble.

CL is way too predictable, EL is superior.

Should just scrap the EL.

Bring back the Cup Winners Cup, maybe have runners up compete if the winners already have Champions League Football. You'd get a whole host of different teams that are actually half decent competing.

Who else is really hoping for ManU to lose? What a season that would be for the special one. 6th place in PL, no FA Cup, no CL spot, another EL spot, Lost to Ajax. How can we make this happen?

Yeah but its really unpopular, i'm not questioning the validity of the torunament as I tend to enjoy it more than the CL. Although Spanish teams have been ruining a bit of the hype the last couple of years

>Who else is really hoping for ManU to lose?

literally EVERYONE

Convert to Jewish and pray to Bosz and Ajax.

I think the EL would get more respect if it wasn't treated as the CL relegation zone

He has initiated damage control

Europa League turned more interesting than the CL and it still is this year.

>still has more European Cups than Yernited

Is Bosz jewish?

No idea but he coached Maccabi Tel Aviv before Ajax.

how did >moyes do compared to >mouyes?

>moyes
was only funny because of united's collapse
>mouyes
was the end of the biggest cunt in football

Moyes 2013/14 ManU Season was this:
Premier League 7th
FA Cup Third Round
League Cup Semi-finals
Community Shield Winners
UEFA Champions League Quart

Champions league: Quarter-Finals

he's just preparing himself for what's to come

Nah, Mou will go full bus park mode and play the most boring anti-football you will ever see.
Poor little Dolberg and Kluivert are going to get elbow'd by funny afro man and pogboom.

plus nobody wants any of the big teams to actually win anything
>real madrid
massive refball, unlikeable players (ramos, ronaldo) being main stars, spend big money constantly to barely win anything and scream non-stop if they happen to refball a cup win
>barca
as bad refball as RM, the whole 'we are unique socialist club' while shilling as hard as anyone; nobody cares your a big business but stop pretending you're not,
>bayern
hoover up the bundasliga and control it with an iron fist, more likable than the spanish big 2 but not by much
>juve
relegated to serie B for massive corruption, mafia links, buy up serie A talent so they can walk the league. on a positive note they sold pogba to manure for 100M which is hillarious

WHY CAN'T WE PLAY POCTOB AND ANDERLECHT EVERY MATCH REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>tfw Pisti Kovacs lived 3 houses down from me
>plebs from my city either don't know him or don't reapect him bcs MUH HONOR

Mourinho is slowly becoming Wenger and he knows it

Was once a great innovator, now just a hollow shell of his former self desperately hoping his out dated tactics will somehow be relevant again

except wenger can retire with dignity, built an invincible team from scraps and never got involved in media bullshit

Mourinho is playing the media like puppets on a string.

At least Wenger only ruined one club and stuck with it

>ruined
when he leaves he'll leave behind the comfiest job in football

trophyless but arsenal are in no way ruined

...

>2003: Mourinho's Porto = Europa League winners
>2004: Mourinho's Porto = Champions League winners

>2017: Mourinho's Manchester United = Europa League winners
>2018: Mourinho's Manchester United = Champions League winners

It's easy when most of the journalists in England are morons

: Mourinho's Manchester United = Europa League winners

They're actually smart. It's their readers that are brain dead.

OY VEY ITS ANOTHER HASTINGS

All the arsenal delusion thinking they'll pick up allegri if Wenger leaves is hilarious

yep, they target their audience. i know a journalist from the sun who used to write for some gay ass science review magazine, analysing new papers that came out. his main job now was summed up by the editor as 'tits, celebs on drugs or who footballers are fucking'. once a year he tries to sneak in a 'real' article and without fail it gets rejected

i didn't name names

but 9 million a year, 60k cap nicest stadium in the country, massive budget and a docile board. whoever it is, a big name will be his successor

stay mad cucks

>muh flukes
everyone can see what a shit manager he was at Real at Chelsea and now at United. He is trash that got really lucky a few times.

I guess Steve Bould is a fairly big name.

Last years Europa was probably the best in terms of teams competing

>Most despicable coach in the game.

Can't agree more. This guy became a real cancer of football. I can't get how a self-respected Manchester United fan - if such thing exists - tolerate his football which is more suited to a side tipped to relegation.

>pretends to be the underdog in this game
>manager one of the richest clubs
What a meme

The Jihadi's Elbow is injured and might miss the game.

My money is on Simeone. This is all assuming Wenger will actually be out as well.

Winning the cl with Porto was probably his best achievement. Not sure if you can call it a fluke. Every other thing he has won he has gotten hired by a club that already had all the pieces in place to succeed.

>simeone
he's the opposite of arselel's 'style'

well he's praised arsenal a lot and has the CV to back it up. still reckon wenger will stay for another 2 years though unfortunately

Why would he drop a successful club like Atletico for Arsenal?

Getting dubs was part of their plan

$£€¥

They're going to have to readjust after arsene leaves anyway. Their current "style" is only good for battling for fourth

>american opinions
Simeone doesnt speak English and doesn't have any interest in the EPLel or Europa league. literally zero reason to believe he would choose Arsenal.

It will be Mike Phelan or Paul Clement or someone like that

adjust learning spanish and playing murderball? it's not going to happen

new squad then

the invincibles used to kick the shit out of opponents

He's right though, and he's not the first manager to say this. AVB is the main one who comes to mind.

There is just no good reason for CL clubs to relegate down into the EL other than to pander to 'big clubs' who don't want to have their European season cut shot. This just shits all over the smaller clubs who have gone through a grueling EL qualification and group stage.

>American opinions
>From an American
Also neither of the guys you mentioned are big enough names to make the fanbase happy

>CL clubs to relegate down into the EL

Those CL clubs are nearly always EL standard though. They only qualified due to the backwards coefficient system.

Eh I disagree. It's probably better for them that big name teams play in the el just in terms of finances

Literally none of you casual shitlords would.
Early CL/EL qualifiers are the most comfy time of the year.

i've only lived here a year la

what names do you imagine are available and will actually be willing to leave regular champions league football and chance of winning their leagues to go to a sinking arsenal? There is literally no one. Let me shoot out some names that delusional arsefags have been dropping

>simeone
see earlier post
>allegri
lmao
>ancelotti
will retire first, also no interest in playing europa league

Maybe you'll get Henry or something

You now remember that Odd Grenland - BvB fixture.

>taking Mourinho's 4D chess moves lliterally
It's like you don't know he's never lost an european final.

>sinking arsenal

7th richest club in the world, they're fine. Arsenal just need a change in management and structure. They have all the resources to compete, just need to find the right personnel.

Look at what Conte did to Chelsea, 8th to walking the league.

yeah and look at chelsea's roster compared to arsenal

>oxlade chamberlain
>xhaka
>iwobi
>mertesacker
>ramsey
>coquelin
all unironically regular starters and the best at their respective positions in that club.

money isn't as important to these people (who are already rich as it is) as you believe

tbf, Chelsea went from walking the league, to 8th, to walking the league.

On the subject of Arsenal: bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39981841

>Uzbek-born Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov has made a £1bn bid to wrest control of Arsenal from majority shareholder Stan Kroenke. But with Kroenke showing no interest, the bid has in effect been rejected, though Usmanov is yet to receive written confirmation of that.

>all unironically regular starters and the best at their respective positions in that club

That just isn't true. Xkaka and Ox often start, the rest have been benched most of the season. Arsenal have a solid squad, as shown by the first half of this season, capitulation comes from the manager not keeping them focused and disciplined throughout. Ferguson won the league with his worst and most aged squad ever, that's what world class managers do. It's not impossible for Arsenal to find one.

I could honestly see simeone or tuchel making the move. Personally I think they will keep wenger

Iowbi started 25 games this season
Coquelin 22

the rest are crocked and have no proper replacements except maybe Ozil for Ramsey

Cech is a pensioner and losing it

Giroud is the only one who gives half a shit about the club, scores almost every appearance and everyone hates him

Sanchez is the only legitmately threatening player and hes constantly throwing fits in public

Face it, the club needs a massive overhaul and the manager is only the beginning

What was the "biggest" club Mourinho played for in his senior career?

If arsenal keep ozil and Sanchez they will have a solid team next year. Xhaka has improved lately and might carry that progress over to next year. The talent is there for them to fight for the league, I don't think there is a massive talent difference between arsenal and Tottenham for example

>simeone
again, why? Just for money? He doesn't speak the language, is clearly interested in finally winning a champions league and his play style doesn't fit at all. He's also expressed interest in Inter and never once mentioned the Prem

I think you're just assuming Arsenal will go for the biggest names available and he's the first one who popped into your head.

Tuchel is somewhat more believable if the rumors of him falling out with Dortmund board are true, but still unlikely.

>xhaka
>le rugby tackle then shoot from 60 yards man
