Whats your opinion on this?
I think it kinda a logical continuation of ED series.
First film started serious, second was perfect mix of dark humour and horror, third had a bit too much humoristic accents but still enough horror and this ups the jokes once again.
Kinda shame Ash went to be the main joke of the movie but at least there is enough gore and moments of kickass and most of the humour is right up my alley.
Plus there is milfed up Xena, always a nice accent.

The effects made it otherworldly, its powers were awesome enough to make it terrifying but not too insane to beat, it did some hilariawesome shit while possessing the Jewess

The asshole deadite (the one that was literally an asshole) was also some of the best shit (no pun intended). Funny, gross, scary and ended with a badass one liner.

this show is great. It makes sense that this is the evolution of Ash's character 30 years on.
And season 2 just keeps getting better, Xena is killing it.

It's a privileged and a miracle it exists at all. I sometimes roll my eyes at some of the OTT humor but that's just me being a whiny bitch. It's a "pointless" series that will stretch out for seasons and seasons but oh fucking well it's still a privledge. The production values are tight, not some Supernatural bullshit.
Needs to be about 3 seasons.

But hey, they might actually keep the level, they could try some time, dimension travel or some monster of the week or some other gimmick to keep it from getting monotonous, especially you can tell there is some budget behind it.

The only issue I can see with sn is, who the fuck are they going to take on after God and Darkness, I mean seriously are people going to be their enemies or something?
I think because of that sole reason S12 might suck, there is just not much interesting enemies left to fight.

Is that not what the show is right now? I'm not entirely caught up but it's very much monster of the week. There's no overarching plot. The ending to Season 1 and intro to Seaosn 2 is pretty much a gigantic admission that they're just fucking around until the wheels fly off.
As far as story and setting goes it's what I always imagined a 4th Evil Dead movie would be like going off the ending of AoD, only stretched out to series length. It makes sense that it's a little more geared towards comedy for a TV show, it's definitely a logical progression too, but I think there's a lot of genuine horror, maybe even more than Army, it just feels like less because it's more spread out due to the format. It's also way gorier than any of the movies have ever been, which is impressive.
Supernatural sucked fucking ass after season 5.
S11 was a tiny tiny light in the darkness thats only good compared to 6-10.

There is Ash, there is Xena, guts and humour.
I think instead of riding Evil Dead brand to death, they would be much better just hiring Raimi to make some series with 90's Xena/Hercules stuff.
This stuff was awesome back in the days and if there was something in similar vein today I would sure to watch it.
That said, Raimi managed to keep those old series fresh more or less, maybe new ED will also go trough 10 seasons without getting stale.
Its not like there are many good gory horcoms out there.

that scene was too gross for me. not too gross that I wouldnt stare at it but I was wishing for it to end. It just kept going. Really don't have a stomach for poo jokes. But I like that a show fucks with me so it's ok. I'm no "omg its gore porn" soccer mom nancy.
