So in Westworld, are there multiple copies of each robot?

So in Westworld, are there multiple copies of each robot?

Is everyone on the same Westworld island or do guests each go to their own Westworld like it's a single player game/seperate instance?

When someone goes on a killing spree does that mean they ruined it for everyone and they need to shut the game down for a few days to repair people

Don't worry about it

Go to

> So in Westworld, are there multiple copies of each robot?
no

>Is everyone on the same Westworld island or do guests each go to their own Westworld like it's a single player game/seperate instance?
it's one big area. like a GTA map with difference cities, and shit in between in the wilderness

>When someone goes on a killing spree does that mean they ruined it for everyone and they need to shut the game down for a few days to repair people
no, they get put in jail for a day, and the hosts are repaired overnight. this was mentioned in episode 4

Don't worry about it

Fuhgettaboutit

...

>every robot prostitute you fuck has probably had gallons of semen dumped inside of it over the last 35 years
>"DUDE LET'S FUCK THESE HOOKERS, AS THE HANDSOME SON OF A BILLIONAIRE I CAN NEVER GET PUSSY ON THE OUTSIDE!"

Is Logan the stupidest motherfucker in Westworld?

why did they go to all that trouble?

with the tech available they could easily make a VR theme park

Yes and so annoying

DUDE ROBOPUSSY LMAO

At least Will had enough of his shit.

I don't know. It's the sort of thing you would think is central to at least set up the ground rules of the show, but you can tell that the writers don't actually give a shit about setting up ground rules. The reason for this, more than likely, is that if you don't spend time setting up rules, people don't get as upset when you "break" them for the purpose of the plot. It's supposed to give them immunity to plot holes. That, or they are just stupid.

Either way, it's distracting just like a hundred other tiny details that don't really make sense.

Very satisfying and a long time coming yeah.

>N-no do it like this!
>Don't go there, go *there*
>Dude lol wtf are u doing

FUCK OFF LOGAN REEEEE

Is that not VR?

they already have VR, one of the tech butchers mentions it

but just like motion controls today, if there is no feedback, it's hollow

the hosts feel like real flesh. nothing beats that

Only autistic people care about 'ground rules'. Everything you see is in service of a narrative and you can feel safe presuming that things work out behind the scenes while that narrative is being serviced. At some point, you have to let logic go a bit. Westworld doesn't contain anything so disastrously illogical that it should bother you.

The bullets are pretty inconsistent

VR with a suit that conveys all senses to the skin , etc

it's possible

the park is obviously for rich fuckers

maybe VR is for the 99% plebs. the butcher said he had a nubile red head loaded up in a VR Tank. but the park is the ultimate experience. VR is still VR, you have a visor and headphones on, not as immersive

>So in Westworld, are there multiple copies of each robot?
no
>Is everyone on the same Westworld island
yes.
>When someone goes on a killing spree does that mean they ruined it for everyone and they need to shut the game down for a few days to repair people
nearest NPC takes over the role of quest giver.
if all are dead then yes they would take few days for repair but MIB seems like the only guy who they gave that much power. its more likely that if you go on a spree they will let you kill some extras and then jam your gun or something equal to 5 stars in gta

will did not have the balls to do it himself. would not be surprised if logan ends up joining the confederacy and trying to fuck dolores to fuck with will

>the park is obviously for rich fuckers
says who? its likely cheap but higher level stuff needs premium

Consistency is the key to suspension of disbelief. By refusing to make rules, the show refuses to even acknowledge the importance of consistency. At some point, everything becomes so wishy washy that there isn't enough framework to even say something meaningful behind. The whole world becomes hard to believe and so any character changes become as meaningless as the setting the characters are in.

In science fiction especially, the framework has to be solid. These stories are like grandiose "thought experiments." When you ignore a presupposition to a thought experiment, you invalidate the experiment entirely.

the official lore is that the cheapest package is around $22,000 a day

in episode 2 they say EVERYTHING is custom fit for the guests and bespoke. that shit isn't cheap.

obviously there are different tiers but i doubt the average person could afford it. the man in black runs a foundation as his normal life

>n episode 2 they say EVERYTHING is custom fit for the guests
What if you don't want any of that crap, nor any other fancy accommodations, and just want to visit the park? Seems like a bit contrived business model - doubt it would pay off in real life.

that's part of the story

logan mentions how the park is allegedly losing money. the man in black talks how the hosts were changed to cut costs. he's also a VIP who "gets whatever he wants" and we know he's a billionaire

>EVERYTHING is custom fit for the guests and bespoke.
That is an outright lie. We have seen guests play the same plots and basically not have anything custom beyond their outfit and mild variation in the quest outcome
>$22,000 a day
is that a lot?
>the man in black runs a foundation as his normal life
and he is a top player who has been with them forever. what about that fag that wanted to thank him for saving his sisters life, do you think he runs a foundation?

>DUDE JUST SHUT YOUR BRAIN OFF LMAO

Truly /ourguy/

give it time you stupid nigger

give it time u stupid neger

>$22,000 a day
>is that a lot
Can you buy a new car every day?

>not wanting to get sloppy seconds like you do with your mother's son's wife's son's mother after Jamarqus

>fucking your wife
>ever

If I'm a good boy, IF mind you, she will let me masturbate to stories on the cuckold subreddit once a day for three minutes (whether I cum or not).

The show has already shown that it doesn't respect the whole idea of making a framework. They'll change the rules around whenever they want just to get cool moments. It's like when Delores shot that guy. It was sort of cool, but then again they didn't spend any time setting up the rule that Delores can't shoot people. Maybe there were a couple of lines of dialogue saying that some of the robots can't shoot and some can, but it was pretty vague and didn't really define a rule so much as a guideline. When Delores breaks it, the writers want it to be a big moment, but because they spent so little time setting the rule up in the first place, it basically fails. And fanboys will eat it up regardless of the fact that the moment wasn't even earned by creating a solid rule to break in the first place.

I mean, this show is basically doomed to suck even though it already has the whole GoT viewership so it'll last for 8 seasons.

how do they put them in jail?

>how do they put them in jail?

Lawman Hosts overpower them and take them to jail, in the morning they get a key to escape hidden in their meal

Why the hell would anyone bother to go to this themepark? Just buy one of the bots and live in peace.

I'd go but only if there's no medieval world or weebworld
