>demon days was coming out and I was already obsessed with gorillaz >wanted the album so bad and asked my mom to get it when it came out >would go on their website and fuck around every day >seeing all of their rooms, i remember murdoc being my favorite room >mom one morning before dropping me off at elementary school told me she would buy their new album for me >was excited as fuck and spent all day drawing the characters with crayon >almost every day for a year I'd listen to the album
I still have those drawings too, I was the perfect age for their music.
Jeremiah Gonzalez
I imagine you have to be in elementary school to actually like this meme band
Joshua Adams
lol I have a story just like this
>2005 >just got the demon days cd at target >love the gorillaz and habbo hotel >printed out gorillaz habbo hotel sprites >asked my mom to get them laminated >played with them like they were toys
wow i must actually be autistic
Josiah Rogers
I'd agree, to me their older stuff is only fueled by nostalgia. I wonder what my opinion would be of them if it wasn't.
Gabriel Rodriguez
the s/t is a genuinely amazing record. not sure why it is overlooked for demon days - what it achieved was nigh on groundbreaking.
Anthony Taylor
That's a great album too. I took a listen to it again recently and it holds up nicely and I felt it was a lot more creative than demon days. Demon Days was good, but didn't take many experimental risks. I know their music is drawn from many different genres, but s/t dipped into more obscure genres and made it accessible for mainstream audiences.
Luis Rodriguez
>buy their s/t >use a 640x480 wallpaper on my offwhite hewlett-packard crt screen >use isdn connection to use the key that came with the cd-rom to unlock the room >it wasn't available yet good times indeed
David Sanders
exactly what i've been saying for over a decade
Alexander Wood
I heard this band for the first time at the age of 22 and I thought they sucked. Is there a reason people like this band, besides nostalgia?
Juan Murphy
S/t is quality trip hop, entry-level notwithstanding Genuinely holds up
Jordan Perry
bet your mom was like wtf
Andrew Carter
>all this autism associated with s/t and Demon Days This is why Plastic Beach is patrician
Ethan Thompson
driving all my friends around blasting MBDTF in high school, crying to runaway after i dropped everyone off
Nathaniel Miller
honestly I rember being a fag in middle school and high school >stole music >claimed as my own >dasracist, and kanye west god i hate my self, the level of cringe overwhelms me to this day
Jaxon Scott
I had a job since I was 7. My skin crawls when I read shit like this, non self sufficient peices of shit. Does your mommy still pay for everything? Liking stupid cartoons.
Lincoln Bailey

Christian Nelson

Asher Jones

Oliver Roberts

Austin Stewart
For a year, I listened to Pinkerton nonstop after my girlfriend left me in high school.
Mason Price
I used to go to the local grocery store (that also sold books, DVDs and music) once a week to buy an AC/DC album. I'd spend a week lisening to the album and then buy another one until I had all their albums.
Julian Hill
>Crying to Runway
You must've been the biggest normie in history.
Joshua Stewart
This is what happens when someone on Sup Forums tells a nice story for once.
Jonathan Brown
I still remember discovering the Sup Forumscore in high school. Much as I like what I listen to now, I sort of miss when entry-level shit like Neutral Milk Hotel, Radiohead (whom I still love), The Beach Boys, Death Grips, Tame Impala, Deafheaven, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor could blow my fucking mind. Good times.
Adrian Nguyen
Aw that sounds comfy. What do you listen to nowadays?
Michael Martin
You fucked up you retard. Now I'm going to fucking kill you.
Nathaniel Lewis
What, that was last year you underage bitch. You're still a tasteless loser neet. Kys.
Daniel Anderson
I used to play with different colored paper clips as toys.
Jonathan Bennett
that was literally 5 years ago or so (not that guy)
Lincoln Gutierrez
The soundtrack to all those drives to the cottage
Christian Watson
>demon days comes out >torrent it because I have no money and foreign CDs cost like $25-30 >kids with guns is corrupt and cuts out after 10 seconds or so >for years I thought it was supposed to be like that
