haha, that made me smile. i love the progression. Once it kicked in with that like...double time...arpeggio part i was all ears.

please excuse low quality of recording. shits hard to do as you may know.
that car lock beep is on par. The little piano notes around 1:14 are super tasteful. Makes me feel chill as im guessing you intended. I like, that song made me feel happier than i was before listening.
old recording from last year: soundcloud.com
Review any aspect, I did it all save for the sax and double bass

happy Halloween every body hope every ones working hard keep it up were all going to make it out of our personal hell holes
>soundcloud.com
yo this is definitely something that could be on the come up I would really suggest going to open mics
hahaha at around :40 seconds, fucking love that. Wont lie some of the synth sounds bug me but just cuz it sounds wet like a mouth chewing or something. Verses are cool, all the noises are great, idk if i really like how the vocals flow and how they pair with the rest of the instruments in the verse but thats just me, I still totally vibe to it. But that chorus is 20/10 vocals and all. That's cool man.

Dark Trap/ RapeGaze? Dunno
thank u!, i did my best c :
i'll try and keep working thank u 4 the advice!
okay vocals really need some work i personally hate that voice crack type shit , but the beat and lyrics and pace of lyrics were perfect i would suggest better auto tune. (first track)
okay this second track was honestly my original critiques as before but the vocals have gotten better and honestly the person whose doing the production has honestly put in alot of work. pretty good tracks both of them sorry im cant listen to the whole thing i have other tracks to review as well.

RECCS
Here's our newest EP. It's not mastered yet, but it's only like 12 minutes.
>fuzzpop gloom weeaboo 90s rock
I like your use of FM synths. Awesome drum work too. I wish you had some raps over those fly beats though!
I like the beats. Good raps too. Is that you?
What sort of fuzz are you using? Your drummer rips, dude. I mean that in the best way. Reminds me of a group called Joyboy from around here.
I love the bass on this. Good vibe shit.
this music is definitely spooky. I dig it, especially your mix. Sounds great and keep it up!
Forgot the link! I'm a dummy.
Thanks so much man
thanks, It was I who did the production :D
review my dank halloween track:

REview ZONe:
I like the lead that comes in that is all "WeeWooWahh". Needs more hats. Overall a song that reminds me of smoking 'bluntz' with my 'hoodratz' on a sunny summer day.
The vocals fit pretty well. Usually people slaughter it and it ruins the song. Sounds gud. Usually the 'no fucks' music style tends to sounds super trashy but this wasnt bad at all. enjoyed it.
Super clean production. Hospital clean. Probably not my bag of chips genre wise. Sounds very good though.
joyboy guy here. Thanks dude, yeah are drummers pretty fucked he hasn't even been playing for a year yet but kills it. And im using pedal called the Carcosa with a slap back delay on my amp(kustom quad jr). Ill check that band out too.
OH SHIT ITS YOU, dude i have a demo of the first song off this recording you did on my comp, i listen to it every now and then. This is sick, like before really dig your singer. track two im vibin on that bass line. Super grungy, like the progressions of the melodies too. you guys play out at all? Glad i got an updated recording.
'no fuks' dude, thanks man. Im kinda lazy bout learning to properly record and also feel like if im gonna be any good i shouldnt need to go ham on quality of recording as long as its coherent enough, im trying to write music to work in a studio(although learning that shit i know would be super beneficial, but ill get there eventually). if its a good song its a good song. Super glad you think its good enough that the recording quality doesnt bother you.
Haha holy fuck your track. yesssssssss. those synths are on point, i really like the tone of em, and the fast drums layered beneath. super spooky super retro 8bit feeling. those chimes or w/e that come in at 1:35 was a good choice, super cool way to switch it up, and that creepy like..groaning sound that happens underneath that part. super cool idea. flows well, and has nice subtle progressions through the track to keep it entertaining. im spooked.
trying to write music NOT*** work a studio
o fuk quad 4s coming up someplace

>tfw love music and want to make it
>have absolutely NO IDEA how
i just want to make some dark electronic but I know absolutely jack shit about productio bros
you can do a lot with little now a days.just download garage band or some shit software and experiment. Infinity guitars by sleigh bells was originally recorded onto garage band i believe and they only used the speaker off his mac for the guitar parts. go online or look around for cool old circuit bent toys or shitty midis and mics and have fun with it.and the internet can teach you everything you wanna know. my fellow band mate made a sick song only using a phone app and phone speaker, a piano cheap piano with cheap drum samples and an acoustic guitar.(its not electronic but just an example.) plugging him a bit cuz its a good song, check it out.

like i said, just go for it.

Yeah dude! We play out two or three times a month. c: It's good to hear from you. Feel free to add me on Facebook or shoot me a message on Soundcloud. I'm the guitar player.
No worries lad!
i'm thinking of moving to new york to pursue music. am i worth a damn?
I really hope you're trolling, m8, or you better be ready for a real downer.
Your music doesn't even sound close to being worth a damn. There' probably potential in there somewhere, but you're still years of work away from being able to make a career out of music.
Also, NYC is insanely expensive, and literally the hardest place in the world to get noticed as an artist. Don't move somewhere like NY, LA, or SF unless your music is already making enough money to pay rent (or make sure you have a couple months of savings).
That's not to say that moving to a larger city is a bad idea. Cities are great! But start somewhere that is easier to afford on a starving artist's budget. Seems like you're not too far from Chicago, why not move there? Play as many shows as you can, show your music to anybody who even looks at you. Prove yourself, and people will start TELLING you to go to NY or LA. That's when you know that you're ready.
eh fuck you. people have told me to go to ny. and i already show my music to anybody that looks at me. i've played pretty much every venue in my tiny town more than a couple times and i think my music is good. you dont have to like it. if you think my music isn't quality then listen to it again.
Hey man, I wish you the best of luck if you want to prove me wrong. Maybe you'll have success. But you're definitely playing on "hard mode" if you choose to move from Bumfuck Indiana straight to the most expensive and competitive city in the country.
You're right, you don't need me in the audience. But you do need a pretty consistent audience if you want to be able to support yourself in NY.
You can work 2 day jobs to make rent, lose money with every show you play, while competing for audiences with literally the best musicians in the world every night of the week.
Or you can live somewhere that is actually affordable for an artist, make small profits from your gigs, and grow your audience without killing yourself from stress and sleep deprivation.
If you honestly think that the first lifestyle is more likely to bring you success, then go for it. Don't let some random user on Sup Forums stop you.

wise words from this user here, for real. like user here is actually looking out for you and giving solid advice. not even close to warranting a 'fuck you'
you're a fucking dumbass man and probably underage b& too. your worldview is stupid and naive. your music is meh at best right now. definitely has potential from what I can tell. but your attitude is arrogant. your music really isn't worth shit as it stands. put in some real work lmao shitposting half-assed "experimental!!!!XD" music to an internet board and thinking about moving to new york headass
