Lawrence arms - Guided tour of chicago

...

I really liked the cover, the album title and band name, so I checked it out.
The guitars sounds like shit, drums are way too loud and bad vocals, what exactly makes this album "essential"?

>falling for the myth of the sex pistols being a good band
this is more corporative garbage than kpop

...

>A band so controversial that charts refused to list them, just putting a blank space where the band had charted
>Record stores refusing to sell album
>Fired from two record labels
>Not aloud to play in most parts of the country
real corporate

Sex pistols are good and were more aggressive than ramones. I like them both but ramones were groundbreaking.
>muh mclaren
He didn't write the songs

the sex pistols are shit

good post, but I prefer Sex Mad or 0+2=1 over Wrong

Being a massive dickhead artistically doesn't mean they weren't corporate as fuck. Without Malcolm McLaren, nobody would give a toss about The Sex Pistols.

No question

Nah
Mclaren didn't really had an influence on the band after their formation apart from encouraging vicious self harm he literally ruined them

>corporative
You mean "corporate", not "corporative".

Unless you are referring to a corporatist system (here's a hint: corporatocracy ≠ corporatism), the word "corporate" is the adjective you are looking for to describe anything produced by deep pockets for the sake of profit and marketing.

Seeing shit like this triggers me.
