WHATS WRONG WITH THAT
i don't have to answer that, you already know the answer
Artists often put the best track first to keep people listening hoping for more tracks like that.
I wouldn't say they usually put the "best" track first.
Usually it's the poppiest/most accessible.
Being less poppy/accessible doesn't inherently make a song superior. Especially in pop music, where being catchy and memorable is the whole catch.
Yeah of course.
I was saying that the most accessible song isn't always the best.
Unless you're talking about pop music, perhaps, but that's a whole other argument.
But Cherub Rock is the best song
>His favourite song is track 7
What if it's the best track?
How can a personal opinion about music be wrong?
>His favorite song is the last one
how can it not be though
that's not even true for that album as the best song from station to station is stay
fight me cunt
>band's only good songs in their discography are tracks 1, 2, and the last track on every album
>first track generally considered the best track on the album even though it really isn't because people's attention tends to falter as the album goes on, especially in albums with a more consistent/"same-y" sound
1/3 examples where the best song is the first one
2/3 examples where the best song is the first one
what an awful example
at least half of the album is better than Frownland
>He has a favorite song
nirvana - nevermind
neutral milk hotel -itaots
welcome to Sup Forums
>his favorite song on the album is the cover
3/3 sorry for the delay, taxman is the second best song The Beatles ever did, second only to A Day In The Life.
Frownland is amazing, which is your favourite?
Dachau Blues is probs my second and Ella Garu after that
Pic relates is an example of that :))))
I like Hair Pie Bake 1 and Ant Man Bee the most
>his favorite song is the longest one
uh, funny enough i can't stand HPB1 although Ant Man Bee is so rad
>his favourite song is a b-side
Taxman?
Don't tread on me mr froggy
>listen to an album
>the objectively best song is also the most popular on the album
you idiot, it's Word On A Wing followed by Stay
TVC15
...
Patrician
this
>best song on the album is a Japan only bonus track
This is true for at least the first six TD albums actually
What if it's the only song?
>oh no, other people like thing, guess I can't like thing
Not without getting shit on from people saying things like "It's overrated"
>thinking about how your music taste looks to other people
>listening to music as an accessory
lmao pleb ass underage
>not Mayonaise
wyd
GET SO FUCKIN DARK IN HERE
T R A C K F I V E M A S T E R R A C E
2 for 1 deal
COME COME FUCK APART IN HERE
absolutely garbage opinion
Age of Consent, tho
...
...what?
frownland is better than Ella Guru, Moonlight on Vermont, Hair Pie 1 &2, Big Joan, Sugar and Spikes, and Old Fart at play?
no
just no
it's actually Hummer
true patricians will realise this
The Village and Your Silent Face are both better imo
Do you really think this is true?
I mean i like the song but sometimes its just not necessary to not pick the obvious choice
Station to station is one of his greatest songs and everybody knows that
Bowie himself was never really satisfied with TVC 15 and theres a reason for that
Futurism?
if you don't count the intro, this is objectively true for hospice
How can anyone be this wrong?
>his favourite song isn't the first track on the album
uhh pt. 2 & 3 is definitely better than pt. 1 when it comes to best songs
name a better track off the album faggot.
What if I did listen to the whole album, and I still think this?
Scavenger of Human Sorrow really isn't a bad choice.
Oh yeah and Gemini Becoming the Tripod.
>welcome to Sup Forums
The only contender for best song besides cherub rock is silverfuck
Live versions are god tier
I expect this type of response from the unappreciative, spoiled public.
>he doesnt hate every single track of his favourite album
If your fav song on an album is the first one, more power to you.
...
clear example of this
Arguably yes, arguably no. My favorite track here shifts a lot, now that I think of it.
Agreed
I'm sorry, but it happens to me all the time. I can't help it.
fuck you
Weezr
you green faggot
I've heard a bunch of new releases lately where the first track is pretty interesting and then everything else is dogshit.
>best track is bonus track
>any muse bonus track that isn't Glorious
>>>>any muse track not from Origin
>>>>>>>>>muse in general
