Tin Machine was a good live band

I Can't Read is a great song.

Oh definitely. Didn't know that Outside was based on Now. This was a really good period for Bowie.

Did they..?

pretty sure that Bowie fucked a lot of female singers and models (and Jagger and Reed)

Reminder that Bowie jagger and reed didnt fuck any men it was all part of Le tortured artist gimmick

>you will never have a threesome with Bjork and Bowie

>you will never have sex with Bowie, why even live

>tfw you had sex with Bowie on the 11th of January 2016

Disgusting.

Best Bowie lyrics?
Teenage Wildlife has always been my favourite.
>You fall to the ground like a leaf from the tree
>And look up one time at that vast blue sky
>Scream out aloud as they shoot you down
>No no, I'm not a piece of teenage wildlife
>I'm not a piece of teenage wildlife

>And no one will have seen and no one will confess
>The fingerprints will prove that you coudn't pass the test
>There'll be others on the line filing past, who'll whisper low
>I miss you he really had to go
>Well each to his own, he was
>Another piece of teenage wildlife, oh-oh-oh-ohh
>Another piece of teenage wildlife, oh-oh-oh-ohh

>It's slippery in here

>Bowie mentioned after working on Blackstar to a guy that he wanted to make a sequel to Outside next
>Tfw we'll never get a fucking Outside sequel born of the dark atmosphere he mastered during Blackstar

Why live

he was working on 2. Contamination

Probably dropped the idea when he started working on 'Hours...'

I don't even want the other Nathan Adler diaries, just the 22hr long Leon sessions

>22hr long Leon sessiobs
Never fucking ever

man, I love 90s Bowie so much but the fact that he didn't work on the Nathan Adler diaries or even make an official release of The Leon Series makes me sad.
youtube.com/watch?v=cL23CRklTi0
He seemed so interested in making them. Sad.

Maybe Iman gave him something to remember her by.

FOWEL BEAST!

sad

Brian Eno

I'd recommend listening to the Leon tapes AKA the Outtakes album, so good.

>Leon tapes AKA the Outtakes album, so good.
Oh we were talking about the Suite 2: Leon Take Us Outside. But I do agree, TLS is just fantastic, the musicians who worked with Bowie and Eno on this project talked about the amazing session that they had. Just imagine how good the 22hr long version would be!

>make concept album in 1994
>label tells you to fuck off with that shit and make it radio-friendly
>drop ideas, release neutered album, tour with Reznor and release Earthling instead of the original trilogy of albums for Outside

>revisit concept album ideas in mid 2010's while recording Blackstar
>call Eno expressing desire to revisit Outside
>struggle to survive in vain

I swear to god, if we don't get the official release of TLS in the upcoming box sets...

Bowie's vault is tightly locked; there were so many good outtakes we could have gotten from the Scary Monsters and Young Americans demos, but they were very much ignored.

Might be a while before we ever see the good stuff that isn't already released in some fashion.

>Scary Monsters
we didn't even get Alabama Song, or any other well known bonus tracks in the new re-releases. As far as I know, we only have the unofficial release like Strung Out on Heaven’s High (Scary Monsters Outtakes). It's really sad, they ask for $200 for just rehashed material.

If they are taking such a long time for these demos/outtakes, the other tracks on Blackstar won't even get an official release.

Alabama Song was on Re:call 3, but yeah, they skipped over almost all of the Ryko outtakes like Some Are, Abdulmajid, All Saints, I Pray Olé

I doubt the next few boxsets will have anything too worthwhile. Let's Dance through Never Let Me Down don't have any interesting outtakes from my knowledge, and Tin Machine is getting its own boxset curated by Reeves Gabrels.

>have multiple orgies with 13 year olds
>die a legend
>defence secretary touched a woman's knee once
>resigns in disgrace, career over

>Tin Machine is getting its own boxset curated by Reeves Gabrels.
I would pay for a live performance disc but definitely not for the albums. Could you share the details, if you have them, on this one?
>outtakes like Some Are, Abdulmajid, All Saints, I Pray Olé
Those are, among Bowie fans, well known outtakes. The next one won't be a successful release, the worst Bowie period for most, and the last one got so many bad reviews.

I just have my fingers crossed for the 90s period Box Set. Wasn't Bring Me The Disco King recored for Black Tie White Noise too?

>Could you share the details, if you have them, on this one?
No details given yet besides Reeves being cryptic about his involvement; it's safe to assume Tin Machine 1 & 2, plus Oy Vey Baby and the singles will be packaged up into it.

There's a surprisingly large amount of Tin Machine bootlegs, maybe something from one of those will pop up in it..

discogs.com/Tin-Machine-Its-My-Life-Tour-In-Japan-1992/release/8228859

>plus Oy Vey Baby
sounds nice. If he is being cryptic and not using Bowie's name a lot like Mike Garson has been doing lately, I'm hopeful that it would be an interesting release.
