Yeah, don't use synthol like that freakshow.

Try going with a friend to make easier and pass time.
Jersey shore ew
It’s stupid. It’s not a steroid or actual muscle. It’s basically like a implant for men instead of tit implant for women

Do compound exercises that work the entire body

Focus on good form

Practice proper gym etiquette (I.E. putting weights back on the rack when you're done with them, wiping your ass sweat off of the bench when you're done with it, etc.)

Don't get anxiety or fear about going to the gym and not being able to lift heavy weights or having shitty form. For one, everyone had to start from square one at some point. For two, no one there is going to give a shit anyways. They'll all be focused on their own workouts and won't give a shit about you so just lift give no fucks.

Consistency is the key. Keep the same routine of going to the gym at the same time, same day

Rest is extremely important. You don't get gains when you're at the gym lifting. You get gain when you rest and your body repairs the muscle fibers you destroyed while lifting with new fibers from your diet. On the note

PROTEIN. Eat lots of it. It's important to eat protein 30 minutes to 1.5 hours after work out. After you workout your body goes into protein synthesis, AKA, what was mentioned early about your body drawing nutrients from your body to repair broken muscle tissue. Protein supports lean muscle over fat, so when your body is in protein synthesis the extra protein shake or protein bar you eat post workout will help.

Avoid most supplements. They'll either do nothing for you and be a waste of money or they will cause some detrimental harm to you. Just be natty and be happy.

Don't spend too much time on especially the CBTs. You'll slowly be programmed to turn into a homosex over time. Constantly looking at half naked mens bodies all the time will do that to. Unless you want to be a homosex in which case go for it.

Most of it is common sense. Just try not to be a dumbass as best as possible. Good luck

I agree with most of what said

A few key differences:

Creatine works, 5g a day every day, and you'll get some benefits after about 3 weeks. Don't go over 5g a day, don't buy the fancy kinds, just get creatine monohydrate, it's also dirt cheap like 6 month supply for under 20 bucks. Protein supplements are also good, it's hard to eat enough during the day to get the amount of protein you need through regular diet alone. The general rule is 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight every day if you're looking to put on muscle, you'll also need extra calories, if you're a normal size dude maybe 3k calories a day, try to spread it out or you won't get all of the shit absorbed. Whey protein when you wake up and after workouts (ignore the 1.5 hours figure this dude said, that's way too long, 30 minutes afterwards max for best benefit), bring it to the gym and drink it right afterwards. Casein right before bed, it digests slower and is great for helping your body rebuild while you sleep. Preworkouts are handy but not necessary, read the label and find out how much caffeine is in them, max recommended daily caffeine intake for an adult is 400mg, so watch out.

You get most of your gains while you're sleeping, sleep is important, do it.

Compound exercises are ok, but you will miss a lot of smaller muscle groups and won't round out your physique properly if you don't do isolation movements. That said, squat, bench, and deadlift are all great and should be included, but unless you just want to be a powerlifter you should do other shit too. Start light until you're comfortable, and don't let your back round in squat or deadlift, you will hurt yourself.

To add a few things to the gym etiquette part, don't drop your weights or make a lot of noise unless you're a hulking monster of a human lifting many hundreds of pounds, you just look and sound like an asshole. The girls probably don't want to be hit on, you're there for you, focus on you.

Eat more faggot

dont go to hard trying to "catch up" to others, pace yourslef or else youll get hurt and be forced not to go to the gym for a while and then youll lose your drive to do so which makes the whole thing a shit experience

2/2

Most importantly, don't expect crazy results quickly, it is a slow, steady process that takes a lot of time and effort. There are no shortcuts, even steroids aren't a shortcut, you still have to go and do the work, you still have to eat and you still have to sleep.

Take before pictures, you'll regret it later when you don't have anything to compare your progress with. Progress is slow and you see yourself in the mirror every day, it will be hard to notice all the changes if you don't take the before pics.

If weight is a thing you want to track you should weigh yourself first thing in the morning for consistency.

Don't neglect your back or legs, bench isn't everything.

Just gonna leave this here.

This. Best thing I ever did

This is misleading
Nobody wants to look like Eddie Hall or Brian Shaw, and sculpting your body for aesthetics still requires a lot of strength and muscle gains. Nobody goes around show ready every day of their lives, but having a physique that looks good with a good V taper is still attainable without killing yourself. The truth is both are strong, one is just training specifically for strength, and in the case of strongman and powerlifting they train for specific events, and the other is training for development, both are stronger than 90+% of the average shitters who don't lift at all. So you can choose to look like a greek sculpture, or like a kinda chubby guy, it's up to you.

P.S. every fucking fat guy out there who thinks he's strong posts this fucking meme as an excuse to not put the effort into looking better.

Just look at any professional strongman and tell me how many V-shapes you see.

Here's a picture of Mariusz Pudzianowski, the ONLY 5 time World's Strongest Man champion. Jon Pall Sigmarsson was equally ripped all the time and had 4 WSM titles. Suck my dick fatty.

Get some DECA asap gym folks should know where u can get.

Or Tren

Watch ur back kid

Garbage infographic. Doubtful the author even lifts.

That's not a fucking V-shape you retard. Look at the waist.

Take large amounts of insulin and don't forget to pump your limbs full of silicone.
You'll be ready for Mr Olympia in no time.

...

>wants to look like a bodybuilder
>finds out body builders arent stronk

Deal with it kid. Strongman is what the name suggests and the same goes for bodybuilder.

Drop whatever ego you might have and start from the bottom. My results started improving so much when I started focusing on shit like form, muscle mind etc.
