Best music player app for Android?

Best music player app for Android?

Google Play Music. Everything else gets laggy as shit with too many files.

Poweramp, its not even close

blackplayer

Android: Retro Player, Phonograph

On PC: cmus

I just use the built in music app, works well and it's never lagged with around 128 gb of music.

shuttle

blackplayer

only two correct answers here - GPM is breddygood as a music locker, but Poweramp has a LOT better goodies built in. Everything else is garbage.

>cmus
I prefer ncmpcpp + mpd

I use pulsar and foobar controller

blackplayer

Is there really that big a difference? I just use the one that came with my phone (S5).

This

aimp

Google Play Music, you can download all the music directly from your computer

I really like rocket player. the UI is a little ugly, but they have some alternate skins that suck less. its a very customizable and light app. and its freeeee! you can choose how to organize shit, what tabs to show, and you can easily assign album art or tag files. never had a problem with it. you can pay for a premium version that gives you more bands on the EQ and some other unnecessary stuff, but theres really no need at all to pay.

i have s5 also and stock player doesn't play or display some of the formats.
Poweramp is all I've been using for almost a year now.
i've hidden stock player since you can't disable that piece of shit

vanilla player, it's lighter than Pulsar

I usually use Jetaudio for tweaking purposes. but I keep trying different ones. Have configured different players for specific genres. Some I have tried in last few months. Give them a try and decide for yourself.
Jetaudio
Onkyo HF Player
