but the vocals are like sickeningly crisp (in a good way) even though I kind of want to punch you kinda. i hate that I like this. I think that lowering the echo on the main vocal when it really starts to go in could clean up the mix a bit, especially because the high synths kind of stick out more than the vocal treble.
But I really like this and like I guess I'm not mad about it lmao
I guess my pick for this thread (I've already posted in another one) will be:
I like "industrial". I legit clicked it because "industrial" but it sounds like something that could be used in a cool chase scene. I feel like it needs to be brought up with more tension and anxiety before you drop it down to just the percussion so you feel fully nourished by it
I wasn't a terrible fan of the bubbly and popping synths at first but then I very quickly realized it was intentional and now I love the song? What the fuck? It keeps changing I'm listening as I write this.
The guitar riffs (throat mic?) are a little too treble-y and interfere with hearing your voice during the so faded part which is a shame because you've got a beautiful voice. the relaxed harmonies in the verses are really great. and i LOVE the jazz at the end.
this isn't my style of music so I can't say as much about it as I'd like to, I'm sorry. But it sounds very well mixed and the guitar sounds very rich.
isolatedlight.bandcamp.com/ >Dark ambient made created using old vinyls >Goes from chaotic to silent and pleasant
Recs: Very good!
The synthpop track is pretty okay from the composition side of things if it wasn't for some mixing issues - I think the whole thing is a bit too loud and too much jumbled into each other, some "space" would be very much required for sure, especially on the louder parts - it's way too overwhelming and not in a good way
Seconding the vocal issues - way too up there sadly, horribly breaks the otherwise good presentation and direction of the track

still this bitch. sorry i wanna do more but im running out of time
called this old goth shit the other day and still into it. gazey and fun. makes me feel young and excited about something. watch your tune, though - don't be afraid to edit syllables in audacity if you're having trouble hitting the notes as well as possible, especially the low ones. especially when you're using this kind of reverb, being slightly out of tune really drags. i think hitting every note would take this to the next level. maybe consider singing it a few steps higher and lowering the entire thing the few steps back down, also, for the deep effect.
I really am not trying to be mean and I hope it doesn't come off that way. I like this and everything but the beat is pretty generic. Maybe mix it up by dropping out some sounds, adding some ad libs. Adding another vocal track over the original one, maybe, too. Your flow gets really nice in the middle but it just needs something (drop outs or ad libs).

bumping this one cause the older one is getting full
I only have two songs so it wont take much of your time. (:
Your mixing is good, not my style of music for a day to day listen but almost every track I checked out I could see in a film score.
you almost lost me but then the 20 second mark kicked in. phew! This is a good tune. Listen all the way through. Mixing is good too.
sending this to my dad, he works at a mechanic shop they're always playing this stuff. Good guitar tones.
What do you use to make music?
your sampling is nice
I am very unfamiliar with this genre. All I see is opening credits in a sundance film festival movie. I would seek those market types for your music.
>wrist gold >heart cold I liked that
It's decent but I think waiting 40 seconds was a little bit too long to have listeners wait before you start rapping. You have good flow though.
it's 10am here but I feel like I should light my fireplace and pour myself an old fashion.
I could get into this.
Little too distant and ambient for me, good sound designs and mixing though!
reminds me if tame impala was a garage band. i dig it. i live in vancouver, but good luck on your show! You guys would be fun to see live!
Your vocals could be a tad more present but this is some 'down the rabbit hole' type of music it feels like it's sad and depressing but some of the chords you are playing give a sign of "hope". cool tune.
Love the video. bass line makes me wiggle. reminds me of slam poetry with some groovy beats. You got an interesting mind.
Last year I was diagnosed with a hearing condition that has made doing music anymore almost impossible because it fucks up my hearing for a couple days. My girlfriend and I's 2 year anniversary is coming up. She always says I should just play anyways because of how much I love music, so as a surprise I wrote her this song which I plan on playing for her on our anniversary.

drainabyte here
I work with Ableton. I have a good amount of samples: I use them with my AKAI mpk249. I also have a korg volca beats, which I use mainly for my drum parts, but I work with audio samples/loops too. i recently bought a midi mixer and that improved my sound engineering quite a bit

Listen bruv, right off the bat I heavy fucks with your floral aesthetic. I always loved that design and I'll be really honest, your music completely reflects that vibe. Your vocal chops are really good, and I mean good. You got song structure down, and for someone who seems to have JUST began posting content, you got a damn good grip on this. I wish I did what you did and made my first two releases as professional sounding as yours. Honestly dude, whatever you're doing, keep at it, I followed you and I hope to see more stuff from you in the future. May I ask how long it took you to really get your vocal chops down to the level you have them at right now? I guess in other words, how long have you been producing?
Meanwhile, if anyone wishes to drop me some feedback on some older stuff of mine that'd be dope, I've been meaning to release newer material soon, but I guess for now if y'all could just give me some opinions on these tracks that'd be dope.
that really made my day, user. thank you so much. I have been producing for about a year and a half, but actually taking it seriously starting this year of march. I had just started fooling with songs and then left on a two month trip to south east Asia. The entire trip i enjoyed, but each day without making music really drew down on me and thats when i realized i need to try and take things seriously with producing. once my plane landed back home i've been locking myself in my room making music and practicing every day.
Vocal chops always came easy for me, not sure why, they just made sense as to how to cut and place them.
few tips.
get a good acapella track and find syllables that have a clean uninterrupted sound. pitch them up or down, reverse them, filter automate them with eq, try all that stuff. pick 3 or 4 and to get yourself started turn on your metronome and throw one on each click in any order to start, playback once and your mind will flll in the blanks. I hope that helps.
>soundcloud.com/miii_miii/cubensis Your synth work is good, never be afraid to do a quick "save as" on you session and really try and fuck shit up and experiment. layers layers layers.
ive never made rap beats, but i have friends that do, when they get stuck or have a potential beat thats not finished but they want it to be, they invite rappers to give a listen and even spit a few lyrics and ideas. sometimes you need the other half of the collab there to really see things through.
keep up all your good work! (:

the volca beats is a cool toy, my friend has one and wont let me borrow it.
Love the vocals and the overall atmosphere on this cut, and the darker twist the track goes into is definitely something I'm a fan of and always try to put in my music. Has like a soundtrack quality to it, for sure. Not one to give criticism on stuff like this, it does sound too sugary for me, but on another note, it does have everything it's going for, especially Hello. Autumn is most certainly nice, but Hello is more developed, and I can relate to the subtle dnb touch to it. Already familiar with these folks here, there's a bit of everything for everyone here, so do give these guys a spin.

>bullheaduk.bandcamp.com/releases decent music, but not a huge fan of your drummer :/ as a drummer myself i have high standards for this lol
Hello. This is my first track for over a year. Probably the most peaceful thing I'll ever make. I'd be really grateful if you checked it out, I'll return any feedback :)
100% not memeing when I say that Justin Bieber has unintentionally created some of the most emotive, etherial ambient-noise soundscapes I've ever listened to... (See video above)
dang... brought me back to my days listening to trap music with my brother. soulja juice mixtape, keef, ballout, all those niggas. man i needed that haha brings me back!

I love the rawness of what you're putting out... Check out my stuff :))
