tourist holocaust tourist

can someone actually find the link to this album?
I've seen it posted here a lot but cant find anything about it.

I'll be that guy
Post what you're blasting

new bermuda is actually pretty good guys

>new bermuda is actually pretty good guys

...

r8 my chart
copy/pasted from other thread
"I did one album per artist for each day of the month. I like how it looks. Any reccomended changes?
>But mayhem has two albums on it
Deathcrush is a bit different from their atmospheric albums"

This is the superior Mystifier album

Why is Dark Folk so boring, it's this middling monolith of a genre.

hell yea

...

Why is the forest man so pissed

Empyrium does Dark Folk pretty well on 'Where at Night the Wood Grouse Plays' imo

this is the best Enslaved album
youtube.com/watch?v=sGj5yxrBBr0

Someone was trying to take a picture of his birds and they didn't ask first :(

Haven't tried Empyrium yet outside of a couple songs on collaborative Dark Folk albums, I'll give this a shot.

Best release of it's decade hands down
perfect musicianship, very original sound while still possessing all the qualities of that traditional Black Metal musicianship
Bone chilling dark atmosphere, and heavy crushing riffs, this demo has it all
Shame what happened to them

I do like Frost and that other one that is green, but nothing they have produced can hold up to this.
Sad I don't see more people talk about it.

I just listened to that wtf

wrong

t. dmu

ykno, I really really like this one too but for some reason its easily forgettable to me. I never remember it exists.

Doom metal fan here.
I've been recently getting into BM, having been recomended stuff like Batushka, Myrkur and House of Sand. I'm not really feeling the fast, hyper agressive stuff so much, but like the dark moody side of what I've heard.
Where do I go from here? What do you recomend I try now?

...

Enslaved's Vikingligr Veldi

...

what's the point of your chart? is it just albums you enjoy?

...

lets just make this an enslaved thread

Is this good?

I'm fine with the idea. It's somewhat early in the morning here and Enslaved is comfy at this point of the day

GOAT album covers

Enslaved, Isengard, and to an extent Windir got me into viking/folk black metal and its now my favorite genre

the ruins of beverast - unlock the shrine

Do you know Bloodaxe? Pretty great lesser known Viking black

I recommend you discover Borknagar next if you haven't. Start with their The Olden Domain album.

>"I did one album per artist for each day of the month"
its nbbmn

investigating
oooh, this looks pretty decent.
...who is this by? What's the album called?

Thanks for the recs and keep em' coming. I've found this subgenre of black metal to be particularly hard to expand except for the cheesy stuff.

youtube.com/watch?v=z4brqp2Y0Fc&feature=youtu.be

Mizmor - Yodh is the album name, although Mizmor usually goes by the Hebrew spelling which is מזמור

finally something good from that meme country

Name one country that isn't a meme

lmao imagine actually thinking this

kosovo

good meme

You're welcome. You should definitely try Nokturnal Mortum as well, if you feel like exploring the more epic side of the genre.

Canada

Surprised no one has recommended Moonsorrow yet

A fucking leaf?

I feel its a lot more common and an entry into the genre. Still though I've got some nostalgic love for em, also they are finnish which is cool.

Finnish Black Metal. it has a a really melancholic and angry feel

Finnish people feel melancholic and angry most of the time, so no surprises here

okay, this band are fucking brilliant. Thanks, user!

We hail thee, King of the Beasts of the field
the Ruler of Earth, the King of World
the source of my most twisted desires
thou who brake my fetters
and released this prisoned soul
Now manifestate in our lives
make us strong and furious
Your Immortal Warriors
Show us the few who shall be spared
an we'll crush the rest
and glorify Your name
until the end of Ages
Unholy Evil One

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS
BLOOOOOOOODDDDDY ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS

No problem dude, you'd also probably really like Hell

metal-archives.com/bands/Hell/3540290827

Has anyone done a black metal cover of Roots yet?

Why are so many black metal musicians either scrawny or fat
some of them still make good music, but fucking exercise

Why?

so you have more energy, so you feel healthier, mind and body are one, more testosterone, more women to fuck ect

>tfw Sepultura didn't continue in a black metal direction after Morbid Visions
imagine instead of degenerating into thrash>groove>nu they kept making kvlt shit

None of these things are kvlt

youtube.com/watch?v=9EOJt7un5Oc

Why the fuck would they change? I really don't get it. Just stop making music if you're bored of yourself ffs

...

Is Wrath of the Tyrant the greatest EP of all time? If not, what is?

the fuck

Got anything a bit more raw? I did enjoy The Olden Domain but I felt it a bit too over the top for my tastes. Their self titled album though is pretty darn good.

Close. It's Deathcrush, actually.

Today was my birthday. I only have a few real friends to hang out and drink with, but none of them really listen to black metal. Thank you all for your recommendations and influence.

you're welcome
youtube.com/watch?v=HiDsuTrXz38

Happy birthday! :)

post physical collections, reposting mine

If you like pagan/atmoshit give Wodensthrone - loss a listen. Happy birthday

what is the most black metal meal and why is it barbecue ribs and potato salad?

Maybe give Throne of the Depths by Drautran a listen

>power electronics against communism
nice

weird, but absolutely enjoyable finnish bm, one of my favourite demos from last year.

You got any more recs for recent demos?

CHARRED FLESH
*dun dun dun*
SKINLESS AND DROWNING
*dun dun dun*
FEAST ON PIGS
*dun dun dun*
DISCARDED BONES
*tremolo riff*

Thanks bud, solid riffs.
Thank you my man
Thank you dude, I will listen. Starting with Loss.

The barbecue has just begun

Give me some numale slaying NSBM.

already posted it several times, but the Circle of dawn demo from last year is fucking killer.

youtube.com/watch?v=Ny18kXYBrqc

can't think of others that have really clicked recently. i'll post them if something comes to mind.

youtube.com/watch?v=eNiWnTEE9Pw

this kills the nu-male, for he can't handle riffs & AH speech clips.

Thanks man, and by recent it can go back to like the start of the 10s because I mostly just know older demos. That being said, Vritrahn-Werewolf and Grafvölluðr have put out some excellent demos.

Aryan Assault - American Hate Front

>Aryan Assault - American Hate Front
link? Jewgle isn't showing much, no youtube link thats for sure.

To be honest dude I don't even fucking remember where I heard about them. I should have the album shared on slsk though, and if you don't like the idea of NSBM/Noise then it's also not worth your time

in that case, the nattfog demo is quite enjoyable, if a bit basic in the sense that it does absolutely nothing new. overall still stronger than a lot of it's contemporaries. pretty memorable riffs here and there and nice sound.

youtube.com/watch?v=mBGOhLbsoE8

korgonthurus also has some pretty good "demo" releases - most of them released on split/compilation appearances and thus not actual demos, but still.

youtube.com/watch?v=XSgtmhaus3Y

Love me some NSBM

hey that was me :^) we rockin this out here now bois

>heavy rainstorms the weeks leading up to NBBMN
>now it's all clear skies and sunshine
bm for this feel?

Spite Extreme Wing

A fucking classic

I was listening to an NSBM album the other day, but I can't remember what it was. The album cover is this or a similar photograph.

Call me a tourist of whatever, but this shit genuinely gives me a headache to listen to.

Hell yeah, thanks man.

Aryan Blood - Through Struggle to Victory
