Why does he despise songs that fade out?

why does he despise songs that fade out?

It signifies that the musician isn't talented enough to conceive of an ending to his own song

>his

because they dont understand the term outro. do you just jump into the verse automatically when the song starts? most dont, so end the thing geez

Because it's what's happening to his career now

Kek

He doesn't understand that sometimes fade outs just simply work the best. People who complain about it tend to not know how difficult it can be to write music.

Post songs that start with the chorus and that are good. I'm interested in examples.

>writes for Fader
Holy shit . . . it is all connected

Not him but
>GOUGE AWAY
>YOU CAN GOUGE AWAY

Many jazz/pop standards do this actually

...

Albini hates fade outs too, I think.

This exactly. The Lanark Artefax EP on Whities both fades in and out. It makes it seem like the music has always been out there, comes to pay you a visit, and then drift back into space.

I think you missed the point my friend
There's usually an intro before the verse

lol somebody watched the vox video

>impliying

>expecting a non musician to understand music
