I'm trying to get motivation to do make anything and I'm doing awful impulse buying even though I just got laid off.

still looking for feedback on this song I made which got 12k plays so far - I want to make sure if it's going to be my most popular song, it's mixed and mastered to the best of my ability
>soundcloud.com/erda_nyc/ftp I really like this. It reminds me of old brand new and lil peep. I wish the vocals were a little louder (I like the muttering vibe it's got but I feel like it needs to be pulled from the trebely guitar more so it's more 'forward' in the mix. I also love the old emo vibe of the octave yelling over the low singing!)
how is this shoegaze? im hearing a bunch of folk cuts, the guitar sounds nice though
this is pretty cool, im kind of meh on rap lately but i like the flow, the beat is also cool. idk if those are toms or like some kind of bongo's on the accent but its cool sounding.
just sounds like what I would expect if emo and trap clashed. I'm not too keen on this sound. However, the keys sound nice and it does have a nice flow.
it sounds way too safe in terms of music. just comes off as some random moody guy singing and playing guitar in an uninteresting fashion
highly recc if you love Death Grips and Negativland
This is super chill, I like the shift it makes with the effected vocals, the normal vocals sound really nice as well. You have a relaxing voice.
This reminded me of the Gorillaz at times. The vocals are flat though during the parts where you're singing but overall its definitely unique which is a good thing.
you are quite prolific, i like sealed to me. bio student so i took up to ochem, like the covalent bond line
how comfortable are you singing in this range? sounds great
kinda rnb like, pretty cool
soundcloud.com/xinnerh0ll0wx/parasite >so far only used open chords >try to make a song not using open chords >idk wtf i'm doing does this work? >rough cut, sad, gay, acoustic maybe i should try it on electric and with a drum machine
soundcloud.com/hvzydvys/a-shitstorm-of-sparrows >a new thing thats just guitar atm and has pieces of other "songs" good stuff, glad to see that youre still making music and getting some recognition
but i started about month ago so I'm experimenting and trying new stuff. If someone could recomend me some good videos or other materials that i can use to improve it would be great.
you do good guitar composition, but may I suggest breaking up each intro guitar part into separate multitracks? Instead of playing the track in one shot, let those notes ring out while you introduce the different chords over them. Nice drum engineering too btw.
great song writing, something about the production just feels flat to me though. I know it's not in everyone's availability sometimes, but if you could try recording this in a one shot live session that would be very impressive
I like it, even if the bass line kind of seems to go out of key from the guitar sample. Excellent if intentional, still tight if not.
Recently got motivated to start recording and uploading, everything is new af for the most part. This is a dance song I guess, been listening to shitloads of rave music lately lol.
Ghost has some cool bits but 7 mins is way too fuckin long m8. The exit music cover was off-time, and most of your stuff sounded a bit off time honestly, I would definitely be more meticulous about syncing to a metronome. I like the way you use feedback and stuff, some creative guitar bridges and nice solos, put less padding on it.
Always comment back on soundcloud, and I'll be checking the thread. Thanks so much to any listeners, cheers

This is really interesting. I love the muted tones and weird percussive sounds. Like really interesting, and enjoyable. You could throw more poppier melodies in there but this is really chill like, a soundscape to have on. Cool boppy energy
you guys should check out my friends music from russia, it's really interesting don't know what genre it is. post-rock? soundcloud.com/pm_mag/tzrxw8eiakml
