Any Pete Postlethwaite fans in?
Brassed Off is great
Very recently I became interested in him as an actor after enjoying his performances in minor roles, so I went to look up his Wikipedia page.
That's when I learned he died.
I first saw him in James and the Giant Peach. I like him.
I have family ties to him
>That's when I learned he died.
What the fuck.
I didn't know.
Isn't this the guy from the 2nd Jurassic Park movie?
Quality actor
He's a cool guy. Only remember seeing him in the usual suspects, the lost world and the town. What else has he done
Yes.
He was great in Last of the Mohicans.
Aw. :( He seemed cool, I always wanted to know his name but I couldn't ever find it.
Also my Mum said that his wife is still very depressed about his death
First for Tubthumping
What race is this guy anyways?
>Steven Spielberg called Postlethwaite "the best actor in the world" after working with him on The Lost World: Jurassic Park, to which Postlethwaite quipped: "I'm sure what Spielberg actually said was, 'The thing about Pete is that he thinks he's the best actor in the world.'"
Anglo-Saxon
You mean the guy who saved Jurassic Park 2?
I would have loved to see a whole movie about him hunting dinosaurs
Alien 3
Inception
When Saturday Comes
The Constant Gardener
Didn't he get his shit kicked in by the indians towards the end
He was pretty great in Sharpe's and Dragonheart
Is Sharpe the best cast series ever made?
yes
Romeo and Julie
He looks British enough to shit the Queen here
documentary style where some guy keeps asking him questions and roland ignores him and just does what he does best
>based Postalwaithe
Pete Postle-what the fuck?!
Roland :)
youtube.com
>tfw you will never be this based
Amongst the Giants
That's his best
And you see his wang
Sharpe
He made the best villain of the whole series. Really phenomenal actor.
I rewatched that recently. It's a really underrated movie, great to watch drunk. I seem to recall it got trashed by snobby critics because of it's flashy style and loose interpretation of the source material, but as someone who enjoyed reading the play in college and wasn't expecting anything too heavy, I loved it.
Clare Danes' acting is a little patchy in places but other than that, it's very entertaining. Leo's always good, but Harold Perrineau, Pete Postlethwaite and John Leguizamo steal the show.
9/10 would recommend.
john cazale stomps this nobody in terms of unused acting talent
>tfw he finally started coming back in 2010 with a bunch of new big movies
>tfw he died right at the beginning of 2011
He's a personal favorite of mine, it's always a delight to see him in any movie (especially Lost World, The Town and The Usual Suspects).
youtube.com
He knew how to play good spooky characters based more on their mannerisms, also god tier voice.
>Amongst the Giants
>
>That's his best
>And you see his wang
And you see nude Rachel Griffiths with hairy pits and pussy.
>tfw will never see a lost film with John Cazale
Postlethwaite wasn't unused, he found constant work. I don't remember seeing him lead anything but he got a lot of great roles.
I had to Google John Cazale. I agree he's talented and unused, but I wouldn't compare him to Pete Postlethwaite.
I'll have your nuts, Sup Forums.
I think the third Jurassic Park would have been much better if it had him and Grant being tricked onto the island and having conflicts on how to treat the creatures while fighting to survive against the raptors.
Why has nobody yet mentioned In the name of the father?
It is literally his best performance and he stars with D.D. Lewis as his son.
he's always been a good acting guy
Saving this thread.
tell us about him
>hairy pits and pussy.
Pics?
