What did you think of the Embryonic album?
Benjamin Morales
first off, i haven't heard a lot of the Flaming Lips. I've heard Clouds Taste Metallic, At War with the Mystics, Embryonic, The Terror, and Oczy Mlody.
Of those, i like Embryonic the most. it's kind of heavy (it sounds like psychedelic rock gone metal, if that makes sense). but it also has some softer moments that can be a bit creepy/eerie. it's a bit redundant, but i really like its style so the redundancy doesn't bother me too much (but it's worth noting). overall it's a nice spacey-heavy psychedelic album and it's right up my alley
