1. What politics did your parents have when you were growing up?

2. What are your politics today?

I'll start myself.

1. One neoliberal, one old-school commie.

2. Socialist

1. Think my father was conservative in the 80s but I don't fucking remember. My mother didn't give a shit about politics.

2. Fairly conservative now but not on all issues.

1) My parents are both pretty liberal

2) I would consider myself conservative

Neocon parents.

Am now civic nationalist, with strong authoritarian leanings. Mussolini style fascist.

1.progressive

2. libertarian

1. Hard to tell, but mom was a raging liberal

2. Nationalist Ancap (not exactly for total anarchy, but such limited government that the government practically doesnt exist)

1. Classic conservatism

2. Libertarian

1. Republican/Conservative. Mostly just shill for whatever Conservative that's in office.
2. Based off chart, I'm around Capitalists and Founding Fathers.

tl;dr People are idiots and some decisions should be made by an educated minority not an vast majority, even though this inevitability leads to some corruption.

Like the founding fathers I believe there are issues that shouldn't really be decided by a majority of people simply because people are idiots. Example: Wanting to ban all guns. Not saying this will happen, but if we ever got to that point I believe there's a point to be made that you shouldn't do it even if the majority supports it. Then again, there are issues that should be listened too, like wanting clean water.

(R)eplorables making it easy to choose which of the "lesser evils" to align with these days.

conservative and independant
im a pro-facism monarchist

Left leaning Dad, right leaning mom, I'm left on most issues.

1) conservative
2) I'm left leaning socially and right leaning economically / everything else

1. Hyper conservative, probable closet racism
2. leftist

My father left Poland after the second world war, so his politics were limited to "fuck the germans and the russians".

my mother had a bad experience working in a factory when she was young, so her politics were limited to "fuck the jews".

i'm a monster truck neutopian, so my politics are "fuck the humans".

Both were fairly conservative republicans and i am a conservative libertarian

Dad was more conservative. Mom never cared for politics.

I'm a Libertarian. Which is to say that in the event I'm asked about political views that is what I say.

1. Conservative, me- confused r with some D tenddies.
Some group was being described on the news one time, fundamental founding fathers? constitutionalist? or some shit like that, I'm like that's me!
I went to look it up and the fbi called it a domestic terrorist organization.
So I stopped like a good sheep.

>1. What politics did your parents have when you were growing up?
Dad absolutely detested any kind of religion but was a 100% republican on all issues. When pressed about religious right issues, he brushed them off as meaningless when republicans were for them. Mom blindly followed dad but largely seemed not interested in politics. Dad was also a communist in high school, so quite the switch.

>2. What are your politics today?
Independant leaning towards libertarian values. For personal freedoms, privacy, small government outside of large infrastructure and military, though both could use fixing. Basically if you aren't physically hurting someone else you should be able to do it, but don't expect the government to save you from yourself.

Over the last 15 years I've voted for a mix of democrat, republican, libertarian candidates/issues. Occasionally did not vote when I didn't understand the issues enough, didn't care, or had horrible candidates.

you are me.

1. My father is a hardcore racist gun toting conservative, My mother was a no nothing housewife who didn't care about politics unless it was specifically her problem.

2. Libertarian with a mixed bag of views.
I love guns, I hate Muslims, I don't like big predatory corporations. I don't consider myself racist but I don't like black culture

I pretty much vote democrat whenever I can, I never liked Trump.
You could say I'm a liberal. The girl I'm going to marry is my polar opposite, She absolutely hates blacks and jews, Loves corporations and hardcore authoritarian right.
