What's wrong with Socialism? It seems like the perfect system...

What's wrong with Socialism? It seems like the perfect system. Everyone is equal and everyone works for the greater good.

yes everyone is equal
dead

Marx socialism doesnt work
National Socialism works

Not an argument.

you mean everyone are peasants to an inanimate system

I don't see why i would argument something like this with someone, you are either naive and just read about this on your school history book and thought it was the best thing ever or really dumb and delusional so you won't care about arguments in this case you will just say things like ''it was never tried!!''

Because not everyone is born equal

how is that different then now?

>Everyone is equal

No they're not.

>everyone works for the greater good.

No they won't. Humans are selfish creatures.

at least in Capitalism, you can be the Capitalist if you have the skills and brains without being lazy like most welfare statists do

This is proven FACT, not an argument.

IT'S STINKY!

*unlike

>everyone works for the greater good

There's no incentive to work in a socialist society. If I get the same reward if I do nothing as another man gets if he works hard day and night, then why would I ever try?

Capitalism is based on greed. Because of that, people will always want more, causing technological advancements. Socialism will cause people to only work the bare minimum, slowly deteriorating society.

Because humans aren't all equal. Forcing them to be so requires everyone to be as capable as the least worthwhile vegetable in the bunch

>Everyone is equal
Everyone is equally poor, with no hope to progress or change your life. Nothing will ever change for you, no matter how hard you work.

>everyone works for the greater good.
That would imply a uniform population where everyone wants to work for the greater good, which doesn't exist anywhere on the planet, particularly not in countries with minority populations.

Well humans did work cooperatively before Capitalism. It's only been around for about 450 years. Of course the greater good bit is false, but humans evolved in tribes which meant internal cooperation. Problem with socialism is that it is universalist and globalist.

Sup Forums is what's wrong. There will always be faggots who think they are above others and will cheat the system.

Honestly all of them should be tortured to death to show them how equal we truly are. Remember that we will all turn to dust. Nobody is better than anyone else.

I do hope you will enjoy how fair capitalism is when your shitty genetics kick in, you philipine scum.

Why is that a cross instead of a hammer (

>There's no incentive to work in a socialist society. If I get the same reward if I do nothing as another man gets if he works hard day and night, then why would I ever try?

This is a prime example of the filth why socialism will never work. The existence of such pathetic excuses of humans are why we will never atain true greatnes because there will always be a faggot to drag us down.

Well animal farm said it best: all are equal, but some are more equal than others. That is the basic problem with socialism people are greedy by design and true "equality" is impossible among individuals and leaders of groups are allways bound to be "more equal" than others.

>What's wrong with Socialism?

the idea that everyone is equal or ever could be.

>>There's no incentive to work in a socialist society. If I get the same reward if I do nothing as another man gets if he works hard day and night, then why would I ever try?
>This is a prime example of the filth why socialism will never work.

OP is deliberately conflating socialism with communism. People aren't equal in socialism, there's still money and markets. There's still incentive to work, there no necessary welfare state either. People aren't working for the greater good they're working to feed their families.

Because friend. I am not equal to you. You are not equal to me.
I am handsome and cheery. I can be a model and get paid well. A+ good for me.
You are ugly and spiteful. You must gain a skill and do something with yourself to become a successful contributing member of society.

I did not need to do these things.
We are not equal.

But do not be mad about it. You get to live in a world where beautiful people exist at least. Imagine if all you had to look at was ugly fucks like yourself.
What a horrid little world. With beautiful people at least comes better faps.

Socialism and communism work, but not on national scales. Early communistic Tribes could work together because they knew everyone in them personally and didn't want to betray their compatriots. But on a national scale, it's simply impossible to build that level of camaraderie.

>Everyone is equal
Because everyone is in poverty.

Yes, but even then you need measures to take into account for the fags who want to cheat the system. I think socialism is actually great and the closest we will ever get to giving everyone an equal opportunity. And that's what we should strife for. Not equality but giving everyone an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY at success.

Unfortunately, Sup Forums is a daily reminder to all of us that there is also pathetic scum that needs to be purged because they somehow have the idea that they are above others. Just remember that no matter how important you think you are, you will still feed the worms at the end of the day. Just a stab or a bullet will do that. In that regard we are all equal.

>What's wrong with Socialism?
See Soviet Union and China.

>It seems like the perfect system.
No system is perfect, but at least the current system (which is Capitalism) is the closest thing.

>Everyone is equal and
Nope. It always devolves to a party of assholes (Soviet commie party) or just one asshole controlling everything (Best Korea's Kim) and having all the rights, while everyone else have to follow them, or gulag/mass grave.

>everyone works for the greater good.
Again, nope. Everyone works for the party or the one dictator, and it's not the greater good (which should benefit all).

because people trying socialism has killed 100 million people in the last century.

free market capitalism kills more than that every year with carbon pollution

...

>Equality
>Good
>The cultured noble is just as good as the shit-flinging peasant.

>MUH HUMAN NATUREEEEEEEEEEEE
fucking kys

>unironically referring to the big book of communism
wew

Works great until your country gets degenerate and filled with 80 iq human trash.

...

communism is perfect, it's the capitalist man holding us down by brainwashing the population with his greed
,
I know this because my teacher told me and he's smart

>What's wrong with Socialism?
People are people.

You can only get willing cooperation in the vein of socialism on very small scales and even then it's not assured.

It's just literally against our nature.

>humans are perfect angels xD

Remove yourself from the genepool.

>And that's what we should strife for. Not equality but giving everyone an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY at success.

What kind of success is everybody entitled to? And what exactly does that entail?

Do I get an equal opportunity at being a worldclass football player? If yes, how?
Do I get an equal opportunity at becoming an astronaut? If yes, how?
Do I get an equal opportunity at being a chess grandmaster? If yes, how?
Do I get an equal opportunity at running my own engineering bureau or being a plumber or a museum director or a hotel clerk?

How does that all work in practice? You've got one decision at which profession you want to do and then the socialist bureaucracy puts means to effect to ensure my wish? To which degree are resources redirected to fulfil my opportunity?

When you get down and dirty to the nitty gritty details of this wonderful "equal opportunity" thing it becomes very stupid very quickly. It becomes a horrendous act of adding up things that you think are to your disadvantage vs. things that other people seem to get easily.
When I'm born into a family where both parents play instruments and have a library with all the classics and are educated then I've probably better chances in life. What are you going to do about it? You want to put ressources into the schooling system that evens out those differences, I presume. To which amount? I will probably have an advantage for life over some other kid who's mother is a drunk and his father beats him. Why should I have to be held back for things that are not in my influence and are not my fault?

And I don't even want to be equal to everybody else. Boring.

And one more thing: Is your utopia really desireable? Hypothetically: you managed to ensure everyone has exactly the same opportunity but your career/project/xyz fails miserably. Then it's your fault and your fault alone, right? You can't even tell yourself that you've been not so lucky or the circumstances or whatever. That's pretty harsh.

not an argument

Yes, everyone is equal
to dirt
