Also debates need to be agreed before between the two parties. The DNC wasn't on board so it all went to nothing. If Trump tried to do it anyway Hillary might have asked not to debate later in the race.

Bernie's a shit debater and would've lost but in the end it just creates more division between Bernie supporters and Trump supporters as you would see them as direct rivals rather than Trump as an alternative to Crooked Hillary.
What would've been better is if Trump said he'd debate Bernie, but only if Hillary came for a 3-man debate. That way all the Democrats would be split between the two liberals, and Trump would stand out for his views. Also if Hillary didn't agree to it, she would be seen as the coward and Trump would've gotten off scot-free.

I don't think a debate would have benefited Trump, but it looked week when Trump publicly proposed the debate on television and then backed away from it right after. He should have said no from the start.

The rating does matter. The charity has an F rating because it doesn't donate most of its money to veterans, but rather pisses donations away on salaries and events. They also harass donors.
