Are there any anons here that are pc gamers? I have a desktop right now that doesn't mean the minimum requirements for A LOT of games that I want to play, mainly because of the video card. What I'm wondering is, is there a way around this without upgrading the video game? What will happen if I try playing these games anyway? I'm worried about any physical troll it would have on my computer, as I don't have the money to replace it. I also depend on it for school. Is it just better to stick to games I can safely run?

You won't destroy your pc if you try to run games it can't handle. Try your favourites out with lowest settings, it's surprising how much you can do even with a shit desktop.

If there's no physical harm in it, then I'm guessing they're just gonna run really slow? What should I avoid for sure? It seems like trying to run stuff that my cpu doesn't meet for example would be a bad idea. Am I reading too much into this whole thing? Also nice pic

I have a HP laptop, Processor Intel i3 2,54gb, 3gb ram and Generic Video card 1gb. I can play all of Borderlands 1, 2 and Pre. All Dead Space, Dark Souls (litlle laggy tho) Fallout 3 and New Vegas. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. Probably Mass Effect trilogy.
If you give me Specs I can guide you.

do searches on the games you want to play with qualifiers like "tweaks" and "potato mode" and you can often find people discussing game specific settings for shit computers.

The only real risk is overheating the video card and frying it (unlikely, as the game usually crashes first). The games won't necessarily run slow, you'll just have less frames per sec (so less smooth animation) and will need to use the lowest detail settings (so less realistic).

Give it a go. It may not run that bad.

This. Your PC will normally just stop trying to run the program if it strains it too much.

I've been using systemsrequirementslab to see if i can run games im interested in, seems fairly accurate. Interestingly enough I can't run a lot of games but I can run Fallout NV, which I am loving so far. Here's some of my specs, my video card is Intel HD graphics(i think). Truthfully I dont' knwo how to access the list of specs for my pc

HP laptop XD

Don't listen to this faggot op he doesn't have a PC

And yet, I made Gwyn, Lord of Cinder my bitch

I guess I'll try it out if there's no harm no foul

We have the same specs, listen you need to sacrifice a lot of the graphics. I finished dishonred, you gotta love Bethesda's graphic options. Try looking any game published before 2015.

I may be an asshole but you are and always will be a faggot

Use geforce now. Or liquid sky. Or even parsec.

I'm assuming you pirate games? I don't mind giving up graphics to run games I just dont want my pc to be kill over it. Do you run games that don't support your video card? How they run is mainly what I'm wondering

You said it yourself. You're my sissy cumbucket

define generic

what video card do you specifically have, you can see it in device manager

Who the fuck is this? Tineye showed nothing and google doesn't fucking show porn related results cause theyre fagits

OctaviaMay

One of if not the hottest girl on mfc

if you can stick a 750ti in there im sure you can run games. look for the low profile version if your desktop is slim. can you list the pc you have so we can find out how big your powersupply is?

I assume is an AMD Video Card cause the drivers. Is hard to find out at first glance, you have to look in the Device Manager and even there, they tag'em as generic.

May your com be sucked by a thousand 18yr olds.. Thank you

OP, you have a whole lot to learn about computers..

And I do hope you die a miserable death

Last time I'm giving sauce btw
