Alright well, still British though isn't it?

There's not a single American song in an American movie and that's bullshit.

At least that was contemporary youth music. Youth movies without contemporary youth music always suck and feel fake.

>nobody in 80s America listened to music from anywhere but America and any film that depicts people in 80s America listening to non-American music can be considered a film about 80s America
What the fuck

i used to love that movie as a kid, but then i grew up and realized it wasn't at all relatable/not my reality

i can't help but see it as a celebration of another day in the life of rich white folk.

There's a difference between listening to one or two foreign band and listening to them exclusively.

>Every movie sells their soundtrack
>Every movie is just an advert

Take it easy on op. He's a millennial and doesn't understand the era.

Oh shut your fucking pie hole... The movie is much more than that.

It's already been established that the movie does not exclusively use foreign tracks though

well im from Sheffield

So..

Is the movie actually about the other guy though? Seems like Ferris Bueller was too perfect.

Broderick was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and faced up to five years in prison, but was later convicted of the lesser charge of careless driving and fined $175

That's because killing subhuman Irish isn't a big deal.

Why are Americans so obsessed with British music?

Nobody, and I DO mean NOBODY wants to hear your STUPID deconstruction and ASSUMPTIONS about our favorite movies.

Kill yourself and DONT leave a note.

Because American music sucks.
