>watching britquip shit

Vietnam special.

Basically all the road trip ones. Africa was pretty good too.

i like the information about the cars as well, the banter is a very nice touch.

Bolivia special
North Pole

I can't remember which series, but the one where Clarkson has to do a "serious" review of a boring car, then ends up using it in a car chase through a mall.

The one where they have a race via car, bike and boat to see who can cross London the fastest.

Brilliant.

any challenge. be it cheap car or road trip.

>lads choose/buy cars.
>keks an banter ensues.

I like the car vs public transportation episodes

>May is called Captain Slow
>always beats them in races

>Jeremy constantly makes fun of Hammond's car choices
>Hammond always gets it right

Jeremy is the least proficient tbqh

youtube.com/watch?v=7e7R3y-qwZ0

every special except the india one

Why did the India one feel so weak?

the banters feel really forced

so true

>botswana special
>oliver gets laughed at
>oliver ends up being perfect for every challenge
>may and clarkson suffer while hammond chills
>hammond driver oliver into the river
>"Haha, your car sucks Hammond, you totally didnt win this!"

It's all a joke.

kek

New Zealand race

The Specials, especially the Africa one. Comfy as fuck senpai.

Anyone know if the Grand Tour is going to include episodes like the Specials, or if it will exclusively be the classic format?

GT is pretty much the Specials all day erry day, new country every episode

Rumour is, is there series does well they'll film a special for series 2.

I just hope the bantz is natural and not ultra scripted, not sure how free they are under Amazon in terms of edgy bants.

The one where they drive clapped-out cars in another country, get into many cultural misunderstandings and eventually wreck their vehicles before they reach their destination. That one was hilarious.

I never understood the appeal of this show
>rarely funny
>rarely entertaining
>no useful facts about cars
>races/competitions are obviously fake
>mostly lame guests

why?

Matthew 7:6 has your answer famalam.

They aren't allowed to do a lot of the things they used to do or they will get sued by the BBC. I watched this interview with the producer of the show and he spoke a bit about that kind of thing. Some of the things they weren't allowed to say/do were really petty and small things like panning across a landscape and saying "that's beautiful."

It's probably going to be familiar but still fairly different.

shitheads like you are the cancer of 4chin

The Alabama episode

The "sensible" car reviews were all great.
youtube.com/watch?v=0Fv8s2ky4Z8
youtube.com/watch?v=ocqfxt6EkxY (can't find the whole thing)

This
>Prior to entering Alabama, the presenters stopped at the village of Bagdad and were instructed to paint each other's cars with slogans that could lead to them getting shot by the locals. While May gave Hammond's pickup a homosexual appearance and slogans, Hammond painted "Country and Western is Rubbish" on Clarkson's, and Clarkson painted "Hillary for President", "NASCAR sucks" and "I'm bi" on May's car. However, the challenge had to be aborted when the three stopped at a gas station and offended the owner so much, that, in one of Top Gear's most famous moments, the film crew's vans were pelted with rocks by friends of the owner, while May had to get another jump-start before he and Hammond could join Clarkson and the film crew in fleeing from the angered locals.
Top bantz. Americans are dum

man that twingo one caught me off guard with the ross kemp bit. I fucking love top gear.

the Chris Evans reboot
It was like watching a train crash unfolding in slow motion week after week.

Is 'The Grand Tour' gonna be shit-tier like the Top Gear reboot or more classic shit but massively over-the-top thanks to a disgustingly huge Amazon budget?

I always liked the over-the-top shit on top gear so im not too worried about that. I am more worried about them not being able to maintain the godtier cinematography they had with the BBC.

Judging from the previews the cinematography is going to be top notch.

The one where he clocks a producer over a steak

The one with the custom limousines

One thing I'm gonna miss is the perfectly fitting music. Under the BBC they were allowed to use any song they wanted without even clearing it with the record companies. That's why the DVD releases and reruns on other stations often had to replace the music.

>the beeb will never sack Joey and hand the program over to Harris and the black guy
>also, add Guy Martin
>ywn 2 great motoring shows in tandem

I stopped following the new series, is it still going?

Is Top Gear the ultimate comfy show?

>Currently marathoning Top Gear

How thick are you? You could have one (1) episode on a constant loop and get precisely the same effect.

What do you want to be told, user?

if only you could do the same with your tendies

Try to watch this without laughing.

Favourite challenge: the original amphibious car ep

Favourite roadtrip: Botswana or Vietnam

Basically anything with James May is a comfy show

>you have to start with hello

If only Hammond didn't survive that crash

The one where they strap a reliant robin to a giant fucking rocket.

The 1 were they race each other from A to B in a wacky vehicle

The India Special

>Currently marathoning Top Gear, what are your favorite episodes?
Any episode that has a scene with the A-Team theme

India is undeniably the worst of the specials

1. Vietnam
2. Botswana
3. USA
4. Africa
5. Bolivia
6. Middle East
7. Burma
8. Argentina

9001. India

Whenever Jeremy and James do something.

The commie cars, Peugeot bit from season 22, polar special are God tier and the old cars film they did when James couldn't stop laughing over Jeremy's £15,000 service was hilarious.

Teen cars is also good as are all the specials, especially the Vietnam one

LOL MUH CARS VROOOOM VROOOOOM

watch something decent at least.

All the roadtrip ones desu.
Africa and Southeast Asia are the best among theme imo.

>DESIGNATED
>SHITTING
>SPECIAL

This was pretty fucking great. It's so awesome when shit gets outta control and they're going off script.

...

based Top Gear

just watched season 14 final, them talking about road signs

>how many people would this government employ today for designing the signs?
>A million. It would.
>They'd want 5,000 people just to decide what the little girl on the school sign looked like.
>Oh yes, should she have a burka, a turban?
>And then that man in the "men at work" sign is clearly a man... Yes!
>And that's not right. No. They'd rectify that.
>In the modern "men at work" sign there wouldn't be a man, just be a pile of unused gravel.

Just hope the sjw amazon wont destroy shit like that

The BBC is pretty sjw too. I think Amazon know that they bought clarkson's persona and that's what people want to see.

friendly reminder the first EP is out on friday

and if anyone hasnt seen it

The one where they have to make their own caravans. All the cheap car challenges are good but that one slays me every time.

I love that he actually payed to have Oliver shipped home and kept it.

t.Argentinian

They used it again in the lorry driving episode where they had to do an uphill start with their most valuable possessions behind the lorry. Jeremy had his drum kit and May his piano. Hammond gave up before even trying because he was too afraid to hurt Oliver.

I almost forgot that. It's just fucking adorable.

tbf I think Hammonds idea would have been pretty good with a decent budget

The best episodes are always cheap car challenge ones

Hammond normally has the most reasonable choices. He just screws them up by being an idiot.
