it has an odd chambery feel to it, and the atmosphere reminds me of black metal. I really like it, and I don't usually care for harsh noise. Maybe go for a colder sound with your guitar, something more black metal, even if it just means recording it with the shittiest mic you have to hand.

it feels aimless, and that's dissatisfying to at least my ears. It feels like you're finding a texture, sitting on the texture, then moving into another texture, without any cause to do so.

I posted in-depth thoughts on 5-8 tracks on yesterday's thread and got a whole 5 listens and no feedback in return, so I'm just not going to bother today. I'll return any thoughts but I'm not going to waste my time again.
This is the reason these threads suck and always will - people just drop their link and fuck off.
I'm specifically looking for feedback on the mix, if anyone has any suggestions.

Loved Vice City and Scarface's OST; therefore, recommending:

Interesting aesthetic, bringing sludge into the realm of ironic internet humor, nice. I like the rhythm section a lot, the drums and bass are nice and watery. Don't care much for the vocals but that's just personal preference. There are times where the guitar sounds a bit off tempo but overall the riffs are killer.
Refreshing indeed, always love to see vapor being done well when so often it's just kind of thrown together. Keep it up
You've got a very Phil Elvrum thing going on with your vocals, I dig it. Listened to some of INDIE, didn't care for it, the first track started to fall apart when it began to get distorted. The self-titled album is a lot better, the guitar work is excellent and the background noises on the first track fit in very well.
Black metal was the last thing I thought about when making the album, I was driven by drone and doom metal rather

Love the big drums on this thing, great riffs throughout. Slap an album or an EP together, I'll tune in. I never know what to expect with a tag like "indie rock," but this is pretty darn good.
Listened to UP, very chill stuff. Could see this in the background of a cheesy L.A. beach montage from a 70's movie. I should throw this on next time I go on vacation.
Listened to "i c e p", not really a big fan of the reversed samples. The tracks have good atmosphere but are kind of aimless, they don't really go anywhere. "penace" is neat, I like the blasting percussion that holds it together.
Takes way too long to really get into it, but I like the beats once they get started. Very 80's soundtrack-y, I can dig it.

Would really appreciate any comments/critique. Will be offering my own for some in this thread as well.
I dig it, quite refreshing indeed.
Surprisingly good, I got some math rock vibes from this as well. Agree with the other user that you should put together an album or EP.
smooth
Love you user, followed.
Wasn't able to listen to the whole thing, but I listened to Mea Culpa and Callas Went Away. Very atmospheric and somewhat hypnotic. Some of these vaporish ambient works I find myself getting bored but I actually wanted to continue listening to yours. Great work.
I enjoyed this, pretty cool track user. I agree with the other user who said the mix was a bit sharp though. Still, pretty good.
This was pretty nice. Very minimalist but it has a certain stylishness that I liked. Good use of vocal samples.
Good work user. I listened to Ghosts and thought the production and composition were both well done. Very lush. Not the kind of music I usually listen to but it was enjoyable.
Pretty groovy, but I think the production could be a bit better. Drums don't hit as hard as they could. But I like your composition.
I listened to a handful of tracks, thought they were cool. Megawatt was my fave.

Cheers for the feedback, I'll have another mixdown in a couple of days when I'm less deaf to it.
As for yours, pretty impressive. Passes my test for authenticity, for what it's worth.
Sounds good. This'd probably be good fun in a basement club. I appreciate the effort put into variation.
