Is this the most overrated piece of shit ever or is it to deep for me to actually understand?

is this the most overrated piece of shit ever or is it to deep for me to actually understand?

2 was better

Young people cannot deal with the slower pace of older films.

Looks like you were too stupid to like it

Go watch capeshit you pleb

but the good the bad and the ugly is one of my favourite films and is paced in a similar way.
actually, I'd say it's even slower.

op is a fucking faggot

never post on this board again.

Not an argument

I believe I do not have to spell out the other option. Other posters already did that.

Normies love the glorification of crime

They love Sopranos, Breaking Bad, The Wire. They even love all that rape and incest in GoT. Goodfellas, Casino, No Country for Old Men. All rated as "teh greatests" by normie cucks.

Normies, for whatever reason, think being evil is entertainment of the highest madnitude. I suppose because it's so foreign to them in their safe spaces.

The same person who can't listen to the words "Trump is President" without shaking visibly will advocate for rape and murder on television.

For me it is the observation of deviant moralities. Same reasoning in visiting 4cancer

This.

What the fuck are you talking about? Are you a paranoid/delusional fucking retard or what?

Even the most awkward/autistic/non-normie people on Sup Forums regard some of your examples as high end shows/movies because of the sublime acting talent, riveting storytelling and intriguing character interactions. Sopranos was arguably one of the best shows on television, not because of the violence itself, but the psyche of the characters and the character interaction. If you watched that show expecting murder/death/kill every episode, you clearly didn't fucking understand it. Breaking Bad dealt with criminality at extreme levels, sure, but people were so involved with the show because they enjoyed viewing the evolution of the main characters, in addition to the progression of the story itself.

Criminality gives writers and producers a convenient narrative to invent drama, but half the time, a show doesn't just "survive" on murder/death/kill bullshit alone for years. NYPD Blue was/is heralded because it featured the lives of the characters, how their lives became complicated by their work and the shit they had to do everyday.

I don't know why you made this post. I hope you feel bad. Also, you're probably a normie yourself.

Moron.

Yeah ok it's just a coincidence that violent crime is always so popular.

Nah faggot.

godfather isn't deep or anything. its biggest strength is having perfect story telling. Every scene matters. That's all. fuck you fag

i would agree with this if not for the young vito parts wich i found not as interesting as micheal's story.

Did you read what I said?
>Criminality gives writers and producers a convenient narrative to invent drama, but half the time, a show doesn't just "survive" on murder/death/kill bullshit alone for years.

I'm not saying it isn't a popular narrative, but if a show only offered that, then it wouldn't be on the air for more than a season. Tons of shows with a general theme of "raw violence" have been cancelled because they lack substance.

Perhaps you'd like to name some

...

mafia movies are usually overrated.

see casino, goodfellas and sopranos

All of them are good.
What's your point?

is reading really that hard?

Sure.
>Hannibal.
A personal favorite of mine, but it was really an in depth analysis of pure violence and sociopathy. It didn't have the regular drama that other shows have and it turned off a large portion of the audience. Almost every episode featured grotesque and violent scenes involving the human body. During certain points of the show, it equated high and elegant art with sadistic killing. It also delved into homoeroticism, which turned off some folks.
>Wicked City
Literally only three episodes before it was taken off air. The first episode featured him killing two broads, then he went on to kill another two in the second or so. It was just about a serial killer finding love, and people didn't find any attraction in that.
>Minority Report.
Future Cop drama with same regular themes. Had violence, dealt with criminality; didn't really go beyond the surface of that.
>The Bastard Executioner.
Saw about 15 mins, was turned off.

Anything else?

How about structuring a sentence?

I'd seriously love Sopranos even if it wasn't mob-related.
I'm just addicted to tragedy.

you mean like
>mafia movies are usually overrated.
?

but the story is shit, it didn't look realistic, and those people were not even close to an italian mafia family.

get out pleb

good argument

I never seen any of them but everyone says the third one kills the trilogy

what are you waiting then, you fag?

Duh

>media increases violent crime

>Americans

Watch out for nipples in media too, user.

It's certainly not as good as the first two but still a good watch.

>it didn't look realistic

Good acting, good music, good cinematography. Not hard to understand why it's so highly acclaimed. Most people these days can't even sit through the whole thing because they need fast paced action flicks to entertain them.

they didn't look like real people you fucking dick

Jar Jar Binks gave a decent performance

How can you be so wrong?

When you'll be 25+, you'll understand.
Seriously.

I'm not insulting anyone here, by the way: I also had no idea why people like these movies as a teenager.
Now it's one of my favourite films.

The Godfather movies are about life.
Young people (yes, I mean under 25-30) never faced anything serious in life before.

Life is difficult. You have to be strong, start a family and co-operate with others.
The Godfather films are about these challenges.

And, as always: you don't HAVE TO like all the movies.
If it's not for you, then watch other films.

>You have to be strong, start a family and co-operate with others.

Not even if you want to keep dating 20 year olds

The key to b8 is subtly.

Besides, everyone knows that 3 was the best.
