I always wanted to build a middle earth styled after the continental USA, but turns out that is lots of work. Made me really appreciate the level of detail put into LOTR and other fantasy worlds.
I almost enjoy looking at the maps and lore as much as reading the stories.

I love this one, it's like an early summer night in the early 2000s, somewhere in the hills outside a city in California or Japan. The mercury lights outside casting orange shadows in your room as you just got back from taking a leak, you look at the essence of summertime tranquility and go "damn."
