It's a bit disappointing honestly. Really all it does for me is make me feel sedated, at least this strain. No euphoria like with opiates, but it certainly helped with the opiate cravings, and I don't really feel addicted to it all. It does wonders for my sleep though, way better than anything else I tried over the years, and I've tried a lot.

It was the workers edition, haven't tried heavy dose yet. Pal wanted me to try it for my knee injuries from the military. Can't do things close to percacets, oxy, heroine. Allergic to opiates.
So the smoke everyday life of pot isn't working out anymore after 3 yrs of doing that. Short 5 min hye buzz to sober and craving. So picked up cigs again to counter it.
Pot barely helps my insomnia. So far jerking 3 times in an hr is the only way still. Painfully enjoyable, but it does cure the constant night terrors.

Damn, that must suck. Yeah, I take pretty high doses because I guess I have a naturally high tolerance, but it is very sedating and relaxing, and I notice some analgesia as well. I find that it's far more medicinal than recreational, legit works better than all the dozens of things I've tried over the years.
Yeah, I need to cut back on pot too. A little bit after taking kratom feels wonderful, but it's getting a bit out of hand. I feel that the right strain could help with your insomnia as well. It's quite surprising how well it works for me, and I've had very severe insomnia and sleeping problems my entire life, night terrors as well. It may be worth looking into.
