I've heard good things about Casey's performance and I'd love for him to grab an Oscar
David White
Pretty sure it's not out yet.
Gabriel Ortiz
Lel I haven't seen any of these movies.
Jacob Long

Liam Sanders
Silence and Fences are going to sweep really hard
Levi Miller
Half nominees this election year are stronk womyn stories from Jackie Onassis biopic to lesbian leading men in anticipation for Hillary's win. Then she lost.
Obviously the jurors will protest vote Birth of a Nation to best picture
Leo Fisher
Hugo Weaving, Andrew Garfield and Natalie Portman to win an Oscar
Jaxson Sullivan
>Birth of a Nation
it's dead senpai, since the director turned out to be rapist this film is dead in any competition
Gabriel Nelson
After the atrocious 2016 show and months of waiting for based Donald winning I'm not so excited for the next awards ceremony
I'll still watch it (rooting for Mel) but the Academy Awards are completely fucked.
Ryder Johnson
>La La Land This will obviously win everything. They love that kind of shit.
Jason Walker
I hope it wins. I would love to see SJWs celebrate a nigger rapist win.
Levi Perez
>director grabs pussy L O C K E D O C K E D
Lincoln Taylor
is this shit tonight? i thought we just watched it like months ago
Isaac Hernandez
They have to compensate for the lack of black winners last year, so expect 90% black winners.
Andrew Garcia
psst it's always been atrocious that's why we watch it
Michael King
>Moonlight for Best Picture >Martin Scorcese for best director >Andrew Garfield for best actor >Amy Adam for best actress >Liam Neeon for best supporting actor >Viola Davis for best supporting actress
Screencap this.
Hudson Powell
Moonlight The gaynigger movie seems to be the strongest liberal bait this year.
Noah Wright
>Liam Neeon for best supporting actor
The lad can't act to save his life
Brody Campbell
I hope that the Oscars will be able to heal the nations wounds. Watching wealthy, famous, good looking celebrities in tens of thousands of dollars worth of clothing and jewellery pat themselves on the back and say in their winning speech how much the nation needs to heal and help each other and not to stop fighting for what they tell each other they believe in and people need to stop the racism, sexism and veiled references about Trump. That he is just a dumb greedy slimey billionaire consumed by his own ego. How we need to move forward and not be controlled by these millionaires with all their money.
Truly, the 2017 Oscars will be a healing process for the nation.
Leo Myers
I know, I don't enjoy watching the ceremony either but the 2016 show was a whole different level of horrendousness. >non-stop virtue signaling >Danish Girl winning an award >Stallone losing >Leo pity award >Mad Meme sweep >Spotlight "winning" Best Picture despite only winning one other award The only good thing was Ennio Morricone winning, and even then he already won an honorary award. It was a nightmare. At least I know 2017 won't come close to being as cringeworthy.
Caleb Baker
What a shit year it has been for flicks.
Cooper Davis
Just for best picture? >queen of Katwe (even though it's shit) >birth of a nation (even though it's shit) >hacksaw ridge >moonlight >loving (even though it's probably shit) >arrival >la la land The rest will be filled out by more stronk black womyn movies that nobody knows about Blacks will sweep acting categories
Eli Gutierrez
Yep
Matthew Ramirez
it's always been like that, or more accurately it's fun watching the subtext of which lib subidentity gets to win the annual cultural war award, see the loser's belabored reactions, see how the winners gloat etc. it's marveling at the shiniest, insistent grotesquerie in the town
Adam Nelson
If Arrival wins anything I'm going to shoot up the oscars in 2018. That movie was garbage.
Just joking about the shooting NSA
Josiah King
I'll fly a truck into the wheat house after Don gets sworn at then release all of Missus Clinton's correspondance and theres literally nothing you can do to stop me nsa. Go ahead report me to a superior cuck
Logan Sanchez
>>THE NO FUCKING WAY IT'LL GET A BEST PIC NOM

Jason Long
If Moonlight gets the Best Picture Oscar I wouldn't be angry at all.
Jonathan Martin
Pixar ripoff lmao
Matthew Wright

Zachary Fisher
Jackie will sweep the Oscars and President Trump will declare Natalie queen of Israel.
Evan Taylor
Better than last year though
Chase Carter
Look at all those screeners.
Caleb Taylor
This is the weakest season since 2011.
Dominic Rodriguez
Industry leakers are so depressed, we might not get a crop this year
Dominic Stewart
Sully will win.
Bookmark this.
Lucas Robinson
I doubt that they will ever give out DVDs. They are probably using some encrypted streaming service for Hollywood insiders this time around
Levi Hall
#oscarssowhite3
Brody Watson
Moonlight, Silence and Fences will sweep.
Hacksaw Ridge will get nominations but won't win anything.
Gavin Rivera
What I'd like to see, in terms of nominations (from the films that actually have a chance):
>Best Picture and Best Director Hacksaw Ridge (Mel) Hell or High Water (David Mackenzie) Elle (Paul Verhoeven)
>Best Actor Andrew Garfield (Hacksaw Ridge)
>Best Actress Isabelle Hupert (Elle)
>Best Supporting Actor Hugo Weaving (Hacksaw Ridge) Tom Bennett (Love & Friendship) Jeff Bridges (Hell or High Water) Michael Shannon (Nocturnal Animals) Aldren Ehrenreich (Hail Caesar!)
>Best Supporting Actress Can't think of any. Laura Dern was good in Certain Women, I guess
>Screenplay Love & Friendship Elle The Nice Guys
Hudson Foster
>Best Picture and Best Director >Hacksaw Ridge (Mel)
No way would they allow this to happen. WWII film about a pacifist christian?
Julian Ward
The Academy hates gays, but I hope Moonlight actually wins best picture.
Wyatt Bennett
It's a long shot, but I genuinely think he deserves it, and am hoping for it.
Plus, it's been a shit year for movies, so he has a chance
Zachary Taylor
>Academy hates gays this year for no-miss, absolutely compelling subjects we got >niggers >gayniggers >pacifist christian >sociopath darlings >rape victim what, no clinical autists this year? damn shame
Cameron Reyes
No way they let Mel win when he's deeply catholic and leans towards the right. No way he wins after he's just been "allowed" back into Hollywood after exile because of the Jew comment and claims of spousal abuse etc Doesnt' matter how good the movie is. Won't win in a left wing dominated industry in this "political climate"
Justin Hall
that meme dichotomy, when will you let go of it? on a lower operative plane, yes kikewood is liberal left, but first and foremost they exist to make a profit by selling the need for products that find purpose in trends their cultural establishment create. left/right, this doesn't stop them from flipping scripts if it would be profitable to do so. Mel probably won't win now but nothing's stopping him from winning down the road, his chances have never been better.
Michael Garcia
I'm just hoping for a nomination, is my point. I know he won't win
Hunter Rogers
>>Hell or High Water Snubbed >>The Light Between the Oceans Snubbed (Fassbender nominated for best actor tho) >>Sully Snubbed >>Snowden Snubbed >>Queen of Katwe Snubbed (too Disney) >>The Birth of a Nation Nominated >>Moonlight Nominated >>Loving Nominated >>An United Kingdom Snubbed >>Hacksaw Ridge Snubbed >>Nocturnal Animals Snubbed >>Arrival Snubbed >>Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk Nominated (Ang Lee) >>The Edge of Seventeen Snubbed >>Bleed for This Nominated >>Manchester by the Sea Snubbed >>Allied Might be nominated just for the ratings. >>Rules Don't Apply Snubbed >>Miss Sloane Snubbed (Chastain gets acting nomination) >>Lion Nominated >>Jackie Snubbed >>La La Land Snubbed >>Collateral Beauty Snubbed >>The Space Between Us Snubbed >>The Founder Snubbed >>Patriots Day Nominated >>A Monster Calls Snubbed >>Silence Snubbed >>Fences Snubbed (Denzel gets acting nomination) >>Gold Snubbed >>Hidden Figures Snubbed (Henson gets acting nomination) >>Live By Night Snubbed
Bleed For This will win.
Eli Jones
A nomination is pretty much certain.
Charles Ramirez
Well I know what wins in 2018. A film about a black single mother who is a politician in a left wing party. She faces sexism and racism at every turn. She is appalled at the corruption of all the male politicians whom don't listen to her even though the audience is shown that her ideas and views are amazing and how much of a better politician and person she is. She refuses bribes and at one point an older white male offers to further her career if she has sex with him. The way this scene is shot it makes older white man appear as a disgusting vile human with many closeups of his face and some cuts to his lips licking with his tongue. She is shot from above and further away with dark lighting showing how vulnerable she is. It will be considered almost rape like and will be the subject of warnings to people that the scene may be too much for some viewers. Anyhow, she doesn't sleep with him. He then says he'll ruin her blah blah. She will team up with a young white female reporter and take down the corruption and blah blah. Senate hearings and all that shit. Just when we think she won't win against something so evil corrupt. She will stand up and give some speech about what America was founded on and democracy and all that. At the end of her speech, she closes with something her father said to her as a child just before this hard working blue collar father was framed because he was black and went to prison and died. She says that and cheers and applause breaks out. The corrupt politicians are taken away by police. Fade to black 5 years later. She is shown being sworn into office as the first female president with overwhelming votes. Cut to black Show quote from a founding father Credits.
Sub plot includes her son getting bullied. Telling her he hates her before they cry and hug each other. Then everything is perfect for them and the kid overcomes everything. Also he is a computer wiz and helps them hack into the bad man's secret files.
Connor Hernandez
Holy Shit I didn't notice that. HAHAHA oh those fucking idiots, they wanted to get ahead of history.
Levi Collins
>Elle Best Picture Would be nice but highly unlikely. They might get a nom in Best Foreign Language but won't win. >Best actress Isabelle Hupert (Elle) Now this nomination is more possible
Jacob Williams
>implying The Sound of Life won't sweep
>The Sound of Life (2017) Directed by Steven Spielberg.
During World War II, Noah, a closeted homosexual Jewish musician, is sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp for challenging the Nazi party, and dedicates himself to protecting a young prisoner, Sira, while also reconnecting with his childhood friend Hugo, now a Nazi soldier also struggling with his homosexuality. As the Holocaust looms, Noah decides to write a final piece to leave as his legacy.
>Leonardo DiCaprio as Noah. >Alexander Skarsgard as Hugo. >Lupita N'yongo as Sira. >Daniel Day-Lewis as Hiram, Noah's abusive father. >Meryl Streep as Ana, Noah's absent mother. >Cate Blanchett as Monica, Noah's suffering sister. >Eddie Redmayne as Herschel, Noah's awkward assistant. >Chiwetel Ejiofor as Leroy, Sira's husband. >Tilda Swinton as Adolf Hitler.
Ryder Foster
good post, but I'd drop Billy Lynn down, put Manchester into sure tier, Nocturnal down a notch, and put Katwe and An UK into NO WAY tier
Dylan Robinson
Hacksaw Ridge will get cucked by the jews who run the Oscars.
Jaxson Wilson
Can we make Hugo transgendered too?
Jackson Davis
I think Manchester is going to be a big deal. Casey Affleck could win Best Actor if Denzel or Tom Hanks don't get it, and Best Screenplay is in with a shout.
Isaac Diaz
You're insane if you think any of this will happen. You think fucking La La Land and Manchester by the Sea will get snubbed?
Parker Morales
>Stallone losing But Mark Rylance deserved to win
Lucas Harris
>Casey Affleck could win Best Actor
He deserved it in 2007 and still deserves it 9 years later
