Sorry Charlie should be in those art museums.

Studio version of Sorry Charlie is gimped. Live versions are where its at. They shouldve waited to record it and put it on 12GCG. It does transition into Stallion 1 excellently though.

>anything but Captain Fantasy
Stop trying so hard.

The only thing Captain Fantasy is best at is transitioning into Demon Sweat.

Wasn't there a wojack of this album passed around on here a while back?

The glitch-like plunderphonics done in a structured way are great, people should rave about this and not those "oh its the chorus pop hit X"-core that Girl Talk was doing at the same period.

Not even E himself was able to reproduce that album's style again.

Best studio album of the 90's

Mellow Gold is great and all, but there's just so much else out there with that sort of vibe

the back half of Confield is the future

This isn't the most unique album I've ever heard (that might be Disco Volante or some of the Residents).

But it's easily the most unique sounding album that I consider a 9/10+

Aside from his other albums at least.

I agree with you user
I was a very young lad with dadrock tastes when I first heard this and it deeply affected my musical tastes permanently

...

this one definitely sprung to mind

Besides his other albums I guess

Can someone pls explain The Pod to me, I'm too much of a brainlet to understand it's depth and brownness
