When I first came to b in 2008, I heard constantly, "the cancer that is killing b" and just what you guys said: "this place has changed." I quickly concluded that that line must have been a meme in itself and in fact, nothing had actually changed.
In 2017 though, after moving from b to a majority of time on other boards like /fit/ & Sup Forums, I come back to b occasionally and see that it has indeed changed: it's completely flooded with trap, BBC, etc. The worst part about that is that it's clear the trap, etc. shit is done as part of an effort to change people. It's not just b posting gross, disgusting shit for laughs; it's--- well, I won't get into it but, I'm sure that's what it is.
Basically, if you thought Russia had anything to do with using Sup Forums, facebook ,etc. to try and sway peoples' minds about who to vote for in the 2016 US election (I don't, personally. I think that's bullshit), it's the same thing on Sup Forums only these efforts are to try and change the way people look at traps & gays, etc.
