A car is moving along a straight road. Its position from an intersection can be expressed as d(t) = 0.50 t2 – 0.1 t + 0.10, where d is in metres and t is in seconds. If d is displacement from the intersection and using the equations of linear motion: (a) On a graph plot d(t) at t=0.0, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0 seconds.
that retarded math level get your shit together >hurr durr how do functions work?? i leterally have to only plug in values and see whats the d value to plot a graph but im tooo retarded to do it
This is just a function you need to graph. They gave you the values of t they want so you just plug each number into the function and find d when t=0,1,2,3,4,5. Take this data as x and y coordinates and graph that shit
Just stare at the words and think about what each one means. Or give up, lose any hope of doing anything beyond moving shit from A to B and copy paste

There's this dude at my work who doesn't even know how to do fractions. OP has taught me how that is even possible.
Luke Sanders
This is super easy peasy stuff OP, like, aren't you even underage to be asking that question?
Anyway, since you asked kindly, you need to replace the value of t in the d(t) equation for each given time. After doing this, you should have a set of numbers which correlate the values of d according to t, which will be expressed as points in the graph. Next, you need to draw a Cartesian axis and assign t to the horizontal line and d to the vertical line. I suppose you should understand how to plot the values then.

>using the equations of linear motion just ignore those words, they do nothing

Come on guys, this is old bait >Help guys I have a 500 word essay to finish and I only have 2 days >Guys I have an equation with a single variable and clear inputs but can't math

David Cook
I know it's easy as fuck I was just not understanding what I had to do with it, my maths knowledge is really disjointed
to get the solution you first need to solve a very complicated partial differential nonlinear equation of 4th degree, such a equation is unsolvable and your problem has no explicit solution
