Let's settle this once and for all Sup Forums. All things must past is hands down the best album post-Beatles.George Harrison was better than John and Paul by 1968

it's not even the best album in his own solo discography

not only is it the best beatles solo album but its probably better than at least 80% of the beatles' output period

plastic ono band is best, but as long as you understand it's not fucking ram

How can anyone believe this. John lennon became shite after the Beatles

never heard anyone say this..

Mother is 10/10

I'd say working class hero is better desu. One of my favourite John Lennon songs post-Beatles

All of Plastic Ono Band is great, but Mother is just too raw. Lennon ain't faking that pain

>things redditors say
it's good but he only had one good album in him compared to paul who released good music over decades. even the mccartney albums that were critically panned have a few great songs on them

agreed

I can't stand hearing someone whining about their mommy issues.

Here's the ranking folks.

1. George - All Things Must Pass
2. John - Plastic Ono Band
3. Paul - RAM
4. Paul - Band on the Run
5. Paul - Chaos and Creation in the Backyard

This is the only post-beatles solo album worth listening to. And the only one that has every Beatle on it.

agreed, easily

McCartney II is tops.

You kidding?

>it's not fucking ram
...it is tho?

This is about right, never heard of that last one though.

The production on this album is just phenomenal. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like Spector's sound.

I strongly recommend it. It's from 2005. Produced by Nigel Godrich. It's gotta really stripped back folky/baroque kinda vibe. Real mellow and cozy.

*ahem*

best post beatles album is either imagine or ram
leaning towards ram

oh no

1. George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
2. John Lennon - John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band
3. John Lennon - Imagine
4. Traveling Wilburys - Traveling Wilburys, Vol. 1
5. George Harrison - The Concert for Bangladesh
6. Paul McCartney - Ram
7. John Lennon - Rock'n'Roll
8. John Lennon - Walls and Bridges
9. Traveling Wilburys - Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3
10. Paul McCartney - Cнoвa в CCCP

I've always felt that Plastic Ono Band is quite a bit better than Imagine. All Things Must Pass is the King of them all though.

This one is very underrated.
Lots of great songs in it.

Best Ringo but not best post-Beatles overall.

not a fan of plastic ono band, i just don't feel its ever as soul-baring as it pretends to be and comes off a bit of a drone
imo the beatles were at the best when they were just doing pop music

A handful of songs from ATMP were originally going to be Beatles' songs, and wee to appear on the Get Back album, the title track being a perfect example.

The only likable Beatle:))

What do you have against the other 3?

aside from the fact that they Blowcum?

George was always better than John and Pul.

you forgot cloud nine

1. Paul McCartney - Ram
2. Wings - Band on the Run
3. Paul McCartney - McCartney
4. Wings - Back to the Egg
5. Paul McCartney - McCartney II
6. Paul McCartney - Flaming Pie
7. Wings - London Town
8. Wings - Wild Life
9. Wings - Venus & Mars
10. John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band

ATMP is better than Plastic ono band dude. Even better than ram
