Cast the movie adaption

Cast the movie adaption.

I haven't read this book idk

Robin Williams as my patience

russians

Reading fiction is for fucking faggots

excellent post

this guy as don gately

Hal: Jesse Eisenberg
Mario: Danny De Vito
Joelle: MEW

I like the part where David Foster Wallace "killed himself"

Hal - Paul Dano
Gately- Tom Hardy(bulked up)
PGOAT: Léa Seydoux
Avriel: Jessica Chastain
Orin: Zac Efron
(To be continued)

Lenz: Brendan Frasier
Pemulis: Jesse Eisenberg
Gompert: Kristen Stewart

Not bad, but I think Hal is a really tricky part to cast. Eisenberg for Hal is retarded but hes perfect for Pemulis. Dano is a good character actor but still a bad choice. I think you'd have to look overseas for real talent that could pull it off, Hollywood lacks anyone I can see doing the part justice.

eisenberg and dano are both way too old to be hal as well

young john goodman as dong gately

How was this movies?

it's okay

I mean this is really more of a statement of how few actors I know than anything else. I ideally would have liked someone bigger for Gately's character and more Mediterranean for Hal since he is described as atavistically dark complected, I believe, but Dano is the best I could come up with.
Bruce Green: Seth Rogan
Mario: RJ Mitte.

>Hal: Jesse Eisenberg

Absolutely disgusting. Shoot yourself.

It would have been OK if it weren't for Jesse Eisenberg's horrible acting.

>and Donald Glover as Poor Tony

avril incandenza

Mario

Gerhardt Schtitt

Jay Baruchel = Pemulis
Logan Lurman or Ezra Miller = Hal
Joseph Gordon-Levitt = Orin
Madonna = the moms
Krysten Ritter = Madam Psychosis

Fuck Yes

It was pretty okay. It kind of just felt like hanging out with DFW for 1 and a half hours, so I'd only recommend it if that idea immediately appeals to you.

You wouldn't show this to someone who has no idea who DFW is

Logan lerman for Hal is interrsting. His filmography is lacking so its hard to say, but he could probably do it well. Good pick.

Turning this into a movie is impossible.

But I could almost see it being a TV show. It's basically The Wire

It wouldn't work as a TV series either.
Literally everything important either happens off screen or is stated during internal monologues.

Big deal, plenty of books do that, it's manageable.

I just think the writing and humor wouldn't translate so you'd be just be left with a bunch of unrelated vignettes that never go anywhere.

I would watch the fuck out of like a IJ vignette based TV "series". Plus we already got Escaton thanks to the Decemberists "Calimity song".

He plays himself in every movie.

Jesse Eisenberg: the nervous autistic Jew

Its why he was good in the Social Network
