Like all card games that start off kid of fun they go way overboard with expansions and different ways that a handful of people with unlimited time and resources will smash everyone else. So you reach a level of complexity (not in the game itself, but in the different expansions) that it becomes a barrier to entry for new people and you just end up with an increasingly elitist core. They should have Hearthstone Classic and Hearthstone (whatever). You can still tweak and fix and balance the Classic, but when I log off for 6 months and come back and don't understand shit about the new stuff, that's overdoing it.
