Well yeah, probably. I'd assume everyone is if we apply heresy rules retroactively. I imagine everyone had a crush on some character at some point. Maybe if you define things a certain way, they're not, but oh well. Not worth worrying about.
I don't know why you chose the waifu you have. I could hazard some guesses, but given how unknown these things are to me, i view you as something a wild card in terms of waifu longevity.
Given what i've read in this thread though, fills a lot of blanks and you are now, no offense.

I personally think the heresy thing is a joke and it doesn't matter if people swap to whatever characters they like, especially because those "heresy rules" aren't retroactive, so it's entirely some silly arbitrary thing.

Well, i'd say it's heavily associated with the dopamine kick the original reading of Saya's VN evoked, and reading it again refreshed that particular part of your mind. Given the waifu you were considering heresying to, the context of the character is nearly as important as the actual character. There's, to my knowledge, not a lot of overlap between Futaba and Saya in terms of actual character traits and backstory, though that's coming from someone who hasn't played persona 5 at all, and played Saya's vn like, 5 years ago.
The two things that stick out as being in common off the top of my head is a general trend towards introversion, that is to say, preferring to stay inside and keep interactions personal, and a slightly nihilistic outlook.
Perhaps you have a fondness for borderline agoraphobic girls. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Armchair psychology about things as nebulous as relationships is hard.
