I learned fucking years ago, like when my acoustic was taller than I was, but I never got good at it and just stopped. Also didn't help that my instructor was a twat and made fun of me so I dropped it

Well that sucks. It takes a long time to get good, but it's totally worth it. Very satisfying when you can finally play a song you've been practicing for weeks or months.
