Pelta (Noose) a polish film by famous director Wojciech Has about the downfall of an alcoholic, pretty great and somewhat underrated work from the director.
I thought it portrayed the angst of temptation in a very smart way.

Not a film, but if OP is looking for some low brow drinking and traveling fun, look for Three Sheets. The tv show used to be on Hulu. It's created and hosted by the same guy that did all the Girls Gone Wild shit, so you know won't be getting any cerebral stimulation. It's just fun.
