How are >we going to fuck up this lead too?

Go Tribe

>mfw batting Robertson 2nd worked out

Who /getting sweet (i.e., replica) Slamtana jersey/?

>How are >we going to fuck up this lead too?
Ah, PPD before complete game.

Guys I'm feeling full pessimist. Help me out.

>going to the tarp
No, you fuck off.

Maybe it'll be rain teases but really pitching blows again and it's a rain out loss the second it rolls into the 6th.

oh fuck rain actually confirmed for threat

>rain delay

Triggered desu. Can't think of the last time a rain delay didn't fuck Tribe over including the big one.

Maybe Ned Yost comes out with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the top of the 5th with us up by a run and complains to the umps hard enough that they cancel the still playable game on the spot

Probably will wash out the starters if we ever restart.

Bauer just might have the worst luck this season.

After Tomlin's last start he put in a pretty good bid for that.

ITT: what the fuck is wrong with the Injuns

Hard mode: No "EE is a clubhouse cancer"

Go.

Just typical early season struggles with Tito teams. Always start to heat up as summer begins.

I'm thankful our division is very forgiving and no one is running away with it.

Unsustainably high HR% for Salazar and Bauer
Defense noticeably worse
Bad cluster luck
High pitcher BABIP

Well, this day last season the Tribe was up 6 on top and just about to kick in THE streak. No one can count on that kind of luck this year and, despite what """""experts""""" all say the Twins ARE real.

You're right, luckily this is Comedy Central BUT Indians are King Comedy right now. Not saying it's OVER but the struggle is real right now. I know this is a stupid thing to say but there's no soul to this team and definitely no clutch. They get down in the runs column and there's no fight. Are we really missing Naquin, Guyer, Chisenhall that much, or was the bad rotation start really that much of a factor? Probably both but last season the rotation was pretty shit to start off too. I dunno.

Is the defense worse? I know that Frankie has had some mental lapses this season but overall I thought we were okay. Switching Naquin with Zimmer should be an upgrade.

Everything else here is spot on.

We don't have to count on another 14 game winning streak though. I think fans seem to forget we were like .500 in August after that which balanced it out.

>Twins ARE real
Their pitching is unsustainably good right now. It won't last and already has started to crack.

>no soul
>no clutch
>no fight
Cliches desu. Yesterday was bad but the season is a long grind and they've got the guys to deal with it. Not that you said it but the fans who think we'd be better off keeping Rajai and Napoli haven't been paying attention them this season.

Getting back healthy Chiz, Guyer, and even Almonte will help too.

Last season they were 4th in the majors in UZR.
This season they are 25th.

>I think fans seem to forget we were like .500 in August after that which balanced it out.
Oh I remember, but being ahead always makes it better. July was the real shitshow tho IIRC.

>Their pitching is unsustainably good right now. It won't last and already has started to crack.
I don't see why, looks to me like they're just in a rut.

>Cliches desu.
Yeah, like I said, it's stupid but hard to not believe atm.

>Getting back healthy Chiz, Guyer, and even Almonte will help too.
I really hope so. Chizz has been pretty damn good so far, and Guyer has got to get back to mashing southpaws.

So what happened??

Guyer and Edwin are the key to solving the lefties. Once they stop killing us at seemingly every turn the offense can get more consistent as we start to beat the pitchers we're supposed to

Luckily CiĆ³n has started to reach form.

Please come back Brandon "Show me your writing hand, no, just curious" Guyer

The Twins already have the 5th worst ERA in baseball. Most of their starters are legitimately bad. Berrios might be good. Santana has a stunning ERA, but is giving up a .183 BABIP, so regression is likely. Miguel Sano is powering that team.

>mfw notorious flyball pitcher Josh Tomlin is scheduled to pitch in Coors

That's surprising. Sure, the defense has seemed not good at times but I didn't think it got that bad.
I have to think that'll improve however.

Don't know why I thought their pitching was outperforming their peripherals then since they're also 4th worst in FIP. Probably just going off of how they've pitched against us so far.

Sano has to come back down to Earth some, right? Holy shit he's got a .464 BABIP.

>going to game vs doyers on my birthday in a few days
>mfw Kershaw probably scheduled to pitch that day with our track record vs lefties

semen slurping Kansas City weather

Hopefully the team heats up on this series against the Rockies

Speaking of the dodgers why is pissboi obsessed with the Indians lately?

I think he's deeply offended a small market team got somewhere that his doyers have been unable to buy their way to yet.

>mfw one of /our guys/ pitches a no hit shutout against Kershit who gives up 8 runs in 2 innings

Because he's an autist

I go to bed every night since I saw we play the doyers at home on my birthday praying to Jobu that I get to see Kershaw lit up

Scheduled to resume at 4:45 EDT

What are my tribebros up to?

Bullpen game likely rest of the way

Just was reading about muh Cavs tbqh.

>that filename

Please at least lose by a respectable score.

>no-0-tero

GG Royals

That popup took a while

>it's a spam lefties because the Indians literally are 8-22 or something against lefties

Try to hit from the opposite side? Take some BP against Miller?

Anything?

Nice Kip snag

Incoming GIDP

Just as bad. Fire Sarbaugh

Well, I was hoping we'd run more like last season... not like that though

Oh here it comes

>kippy GIDP

OLD MAN ROBERTSON

Kek nice Gold Glove

Zmac has been looking pretty good as a reliever

He's got a 2nd pitch this season. Our bullpen is really deep and good.

That happens when you throw pitches besides 95 mph fastballs
