It was an accident, and an extreme special case, which plays a factor. You can't call female priveledge under extreme unique circumstances.
This was third degree manslaughter which carries a federal minimum 10 months in prison, but can be reduced out of mitigating factors..
Factors such as, she accepts blame, he was in on it and participated in the action and voluntary committed a reckless act. Possible he even convinced her it would be fine.. the fact that she isn't a criminal with malintent. The fact we are talking about a stunt that's shown in Hollywood to be totally fine, and not third degree murder in the sense of texting and driving, which everyone knows well is a very bad idea.
