More like Redditman you sorry memester.

Nope. That would be The Shawshank Redemption

Goddamn I love Tom so fuckin much, n-no homo

im too dumb for this movie, can some1 explain it to me like im 5 yo?
i honestly dont get it,iwas bored the whole time,i get its kinda pseudo marriageinfidelitybs!?! but not much beyond that.

It's one of them, and one of Kubrick's two best, the other being Barry Lyndon.

Eyes Wide Shut was Uncle Stanley waking you up to the real world, kid.

What was this film's message?

It's about fidelity, and love. Kubrick used genre to scaffold his films, and the elite kink club is a: part of the erotic thriller genre, and b: in sympathy with the bourgeois European setting of the source material, nothing to do with conspiracy theories, as some would have you believe.

It's certainly my favorite

pls kill this meme

i didn't find eyes wide shut bad, i think it was somewhat entertaining as a story, but the movie didn't connect to any grand themes or evoke emotion.

It's about the biggest theme of all, love.

really did tom love nicole? all i remember from the end is he's relieved he's not in trouble.

What was Kubrick trying to tell us?

It's about a man trying to catch up with the female libido. My interpretation is that the story follows this dream logic of dream censorship where he keeps failing at commiting adultery because his super-ego restricts his fantasies.
More like Eyes Wide Cucked amirite

It's certainly one of the most TENSE films ever made.

Yes he did. The worldly trouble is an extrapolation of the 'world out of joint' feeling of uncertainty in his marriage. The whole film is a dream.

Don't trust women.
Don't trust those that run the world.
You're fucked regardless.

Its up there with harry potter
