Yeah, it's always risky business. Trick is to find a good spot. I always hid them when I was younger, ie 7th grade and up, but after I got in college my parents found my stash when I was at school. Had a really awkward talk about it when I got home on break. That was about it. Later tried to explain it to my mom because she just didn't understand it at all, to some degree of effectiveness. Now I just keep them in the cardboard boxes they ship in in my closet. My mom knows not to mess with them, and while she seems weirded out by it, it wont change our relationship with each other. In the boxes, its a simple matter of not opening them and they can just be ignored.
