It's doubtful than any other band has impressed and influenced more musicians than King Crimson in all their different incarnations. Just ask Yes, Genesis, ELP, Rush, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Primus, Porcupine Tree, The Mars Volta, Wire, Mastodon, etc etc.
