Paths of glory is one of my favorite movies of all time. Even before i knew it was a Kubrick flick.

>Barry Lyndon 11

Bait. or Confirmed for no Taste.

The correct order:

1) 2001: A Space Odyssey
2) Dr Strangelove
3) The Shining
4) A Clockwork Orange
5) Paths of Glory
6) Barry Lyndon
7) Full Metal Jacket

Personal preference?

Love it,
Barry Lyndon: Probably his most technically brilliant and well researched film.

Strangelove: A fun political satire of the dangers of the cold war.

2001:ASO: Classic sci-fi and mind trip.

A Clockwork Orange: Egelord city, but I think that in a weird way it still holds up.

The Shining: One of the scariest films ever made.

The Killing: A well constructed classic in the Film Noir cannon, right up there with the Big Sleep or Casablanca.

killer's kiss
fear and desire: Both these films are interesting as juvinallia, but are kind of weak in comparison.

Havn't seen it,
>Lolita
>Spartacus
>Eyes Wide Shut
>Full Metal Jacket
>Paths of Glory

^ humorless dumbfuck

i liked the beginning but i didnt find it as interesting as his other stuff. it looked fucking fantastic visually of course but i was kinda surprised by how relatively straightforward the story was.

friendly reminder that this Kubrick films takes place in the same universe: Kubrickverse.

Part of the Kubrickverse
2001: A Space Odyssey
A Clockwork Orange
The Shining
Full Metal Jacket
Eyes Wide Shut

And maybe:
Dr Strangelove.

EWS fucking rules

Dr strange love
Full metal jacket
The shining
Eyes wide shut
2001
A clockwork orange

Sup Forums circle jerk over Kubrick again.

What next a Tarkovsky thread?

rank his movies you miserable fuck

>Havn't seen it,
>>Lolita
>>Spartacus
>>Eyes Wide Shut
>>Full Metal Jacket
>>Paths of Glory
Paths of glory is so fucking good, and spartacus is only partly a Kubrick film, but if you like epic period spectacles set in classical times it stands out among its peers. I highly reccomend it.
Full metal jacket... How are you posting on Sup Forums without having seen it?

Isn't Eyes Wide Shut literally about a man being cucked?

And Sup Forums loves it.

Hrmmm.....Coincidence?

FINE

2001
Paths of Glory
Barry Lyndon
Eyes Wide Shut
The Killing
Spartacus
Dr Strangelove
The Shining
Killers Kiss
A Clockwork Orange
Lolita
Fear and Desire
Full Metal Jacket

it's about his paranoia about being cucked and the various hallucinatory ways in which that fear manifests itself. it kinda feels like a horror movie even though nothing remotely scary actually happens

please explain why you like fear and desire more than full metal jacket. this is baffling to me.

Very surface level analysis, user. Get your provincial ass outta here!

The placement is merely a matter of circumstance, in relation to my absolute hatred for Full Metal Jacket. Is it "better" perhaps not. But my distaste of FMJ makes it so.

Kubrick was a talentless hack
Thus ordering the trash he produced would be a fruitless exercise

>A Tarkovsky thread
I hope

>has the audacity to use the word juvinallia in his post
>hasn't seen half of kubrick's movies

How's film studies going? Really opening your eyes huh?

>Barry Lyndon not #1
You done goofed OP.
