Who's character was butchered worse as the seasons went on?

What show

Jim/Pam

Perfect characters for the first 3 seasons
Then they were fucking insufferable

Ryan, he went through way too many changes as a character and became undefinable as one.

Ryan got funnier and Andy got more annoying and less funny

Andy just became Michael. It was really lazy

The Office went downhill after season 6. Carrell was the only one with the foresight to abandon ship

One of these characters was given more screen time and additional characteristics due to other characters leaving the show. These characteristics were not consistent with previous depictions of the character.

The other character only appeared after the show was already shit.

Has any show went on longer past its expiration date than this one?

The Simpsons, easily.

Simpsons

Simpsons did it

The office is just a old crappy version of parks and recs

Bebe LaTigra

This show sucks except for Creed, Kevin and Stanley. Toby was ok.

Out of those four, Creed was the clear stand out. Stanley did jack shit. Kevin somehow became a retard as the show progressed, and Toby got dumped on waaaaaaaaaaaayy too much.

Andy was meant to be sympathized with, Ryan was just an unlikeable douche. Neither character is any good in a vacuum. Andy had better moments with the rest of the cast though, while Ryan just seemed to randomly be inserted wherever.

They all got worse as the show went on. Only Gabe was good by that time.

Gabe just replaced Toby as the whipping boy from time to time though.

False.
Originally Ryan was the straight man in a wacky office world.

Prime example:

"what line of work you in bob?"

>"what line of work you in bob?"
>Saying that after Bob told him the line of work he was in
>not a douche
The first few episodes he was in, he seemed like he was trying to fit in. Cut to the panini burning and everything after that and he turns into a complete douche.

Hangover: the series

u srs?

He's subtly pointing out how ridiculous introducing one's self in that manner is - in a world where nobody seems to even notice.

He's full of himself, sure - but in reality he's the normal guy in the fuckin twilight meme zone

A straight man would've asked Bob why he introduces himself like that or just said "hi I'm Ryan" not made a sarcastic response. Don't be a fucking idiot

a little of both? agree to disagree fellow office fan user?
