Can we talk about this masterpiece? How come ITCOTCK is talked about so much more here than this or Red?

ITCOTCK and Lark's are top tier. Not as huge on the rest of their discography but it does ha e some high points on each album.

Cat Food is the original Rattlesnake.

ITCOTCK, Larks, and Red are all masterpieces, but this is the actual most underrated KC album. I think it's their best, and yet nobody ever mentions it. At least they're playing songs from it live again.

I will never understand why so many people hate this album.

LTiA is the best KC album

I'm not sure about that.

I wouldn't say it's their best but I still love it. The title track is probably one of their best songs.

Ladies of the Road and Gull's Song are shite desu.
The rest of it is really good though. The title track is especially beautiful.

their best is lizard, not even trying to be contrarian

Finally someone that agrees with me on this. Underrated album.

It is their best album
Larks Tongues in Aspic > Red = Discipline > The Power to Believe > Starless and Bible Black > Thrak > Beat > The Construkction of Light > In the Court of the Crimson King = Lizard > Three of a Perfect Pair > In the Wake of Poseidon > Islands

>The Construkction of Light > In the Court of the Crimson King
holy contrarian

a shite version, not a shite song

>ITCOTCK that low
Wow you're so cool, user!

I just don't think it's as good as Court

I'm not feeling it

I'll give it a relisten soon

Discipline is their best

Larks > Court > Red > Discipline > Lizard > the rest

It's a great album but I just can't get past the fact that it sounds so much like Remain in light.

It's bait and you fell for it.

BTW if any are interested I uploaded a couple of their best live albums.

If you prefer their late stuff
Absent Lovers (live in Montreal '84)

And if you like their early stuff
Live At The Marquee 1969

you wouldn't happen to have the great deceiver or road to red would you?

Thanks. I like their early stuff.

I do not the only other live Crimson album I have is this The Great Deceiver just seems like such a slog, and it doesn't look like there's much worthwhile that doesn't get covered on Absent Lovers so I never got it.

user DELET THIS RIGHT THE FUCK NOW OR I WILL SHOW YOU DISCIPLINE

I really like both, but I suppose I can understand why Ladies of the Road is disliked. But why don't you like Song of the Gulls? It's a nice transition into the title track.

ummmm no?

both of these are on slsk

Anybody have The Projekcts boxset? Can't find it on slsk

Its not bait, I just view Crimson differently than you. While I love and respect every crim album, I don't think Fripp truly came into his own until Larks Tongues in Aspic. That era and every era afterward was a more fully realized King Crimson and I like it more than the pre Larks albums. Relax friends, I mean you no harm, I'm just a diehard crimson fan with different opinions than you.

>muh Starless
it's great but honestly fuck off

The title track was the first song I listened to on my headsets.
