>implying two white cucks and three oreo cornball brothers qualified as a superteam

top jej

nash looks like a skeleton on the outside, like there is nothing between his skin and his skull

but yes this is the worst superteam of all time

What went wrong?

They were only nice in retrospect

they were never a superteam.

the superteams in NBA history are:

1986 Celtics
1996-97 Bulls
2015-17 Warriors.

that's it

>implying old men are a superteam

>most overrated 2x MVP ever past his prime
>Shaq lite without the basketball IQ
>Ron Artest didn't exist anymore
>non hall of fame Spaniard
>Kobe

not the recent celtics one? or the recent heat one?

No. They were good, but nothing spectacular.

Isn't a super team about taking several best players from other teams, and putting them together on one superteam. 2010 Heat were a superteam, Warriors 2017 are a superteam, 96 Bulls were a superteam. But 2016 Warriors were not a superteam, they just drafted well and built a good system, aka a really good team.

Super team has lost its original definition, it's not just defined as who's the top seed.

Injured Dwight. Basically done Nash=Durant.

>payton, malone, shaq and kobe don't qualify as a super team

sure

Malone and Payton were past their prime ring chasers at that point.

Nash gets injured pre-season.
Kobe tears Achilles.
Dwight turned into a bitch.
MWP too old.
No solid bench players.
Literally everything.

This would have been if everyone sans Dwight were a bit younger.

>Doesn't post the actual first "superteam" from the same franchise years before that

Both those dudes averaged 20ppg the year before. We're they both on the decline? Sure. They certainly were both still considered all star caliber when the joined the Lakers though. I still remember the media trumping that team as the greatest ever before the season started.

Let's talk about failed super teams. OP's lakers are one, Barkleys rockets

Everyone should've seen the writing on the wall.

>Howard coming off back surgery
>Lazyass attempting to coexist with sociopath Kobe
>38 yo Steve Nash
>Mike Brown as your coach
>Shit bench

...

They never won a ring with Nash and it was a bad idea.

It's about a team that plays well together (Warios) and not building it around someone's ego.

You know you've been on Sup Forums too much when you think this picture looks off because it doesn't have a white girl in the middle.

Will D Will ever win a ring?

>Pau Gasol
>not a Hall of Famer

>GSW with 1865 ELO
>Jordan's Bulls peaked at 1853
>'86 Celtics at 1816

That's fucked up

>kobe
>oreo cornball nigga
Kobr is a real ass nigga cause he has had rape charges

the heat would've been considered a super team had they won the other half of their finals.

Will he ever score a point in the finals?

Too easy to get into the Hall of Fame. Most of those players should be at least debatable, not basically guaranteed to get in.

All he needed to do was score a couple of times each game and that would have been enough for them to have a chance.

>Artest
>cornball brother

I hope he never does. That nigger forced Jerry Sloan into retirement

This was them settling when they could have gotten CP3. In retrospect, everyone should have known D12 would be such a fucking cancerous chimp so it probably wouldn't have mattered until he left.

bruh this picture gets funnier everytime you look at it

tony parker? I feel like the HoF list is just players who played a long time.

Pau was never HoF material, same with Tony Parker.

Basically they're saying if you were above average and played a long time, you're a hall of famer.

HoF should be the greatest of their generation. But it's not.

He's only going to play one more game before his career is over so no.

Reminds me of the time Mark Jackson almost made Sloan quit, interesting article

Problem is they try to force meme a class of players every year like baseball or football but the obvious problem is it has a much, much smaller pool of people to pick from. Tracy McGrady got in this year. Good player? Sure. Hall of Famer? Absolutely not. There's not that many more mlb hall of famers than nba as players despite being around twice as long and having double the amount of players on a team.
