Any albums like this for my friend, lads?

Any albums like this for my friend, lads?
I gave him Souvlaki and he said "that's not what I loved about Loveless". He loved how it was so calm and melodic while still being so noisy. He's a hip-hop head, and he said it's the first album he has ever liked at first listen.

Any recs with calm atmosphere but still noise like pic related?

woah another bailterspace fan!!!
man i havent met anyone who knew who they were before i showed them.
desu i prefer vortura, even though its perhaps less "shoegazey".

Yeah great band.
Vortura is probably my fav too, along with Wammo, but Robot World is more dense and textural. Has that shoegaze vibe. Vortura is much more aggressive and raw.

A lot of the Japanese shoegaze bands are heavily influenced by Loveless. There's a Jap shoegaze YouTube channel so you can research there.

The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Methodrone

Also anything by Tokyo Shoegazer

There’s nothing like it.

Spiritualized - Ladies and gentlemen(...) maybe. Perhaps not as noisy but I like it better than Souvlaki and I really love Loveless.
