>le Reddit Letter Media, has shown me what to think again, thank you my aryan masters
Fuck off
He's excellent
I liked Sicario, loved Arrival. Watched Enemy last night, and it was a really fascinating film. Jake's performance(s) was excellent, awesome sense of dread or foreboding. And the uh, more surreal or metaphorical elements...wow. Still not sure what to make of it/how to interpret it but that's part of the mystique. So yeah, he's one of the most exciting filmmakers working today.
>the best mainstream director
>plebs actually believe this
still can't believe that they hired this hack to do the blade runner sequel
>still can't believe that they hired this hack to do the blade runner sequel
The Blade Runner sequel is in the best possible hands, it's really a perfect marriage and about the only reboot/decades later sequel whatever that may actually be worthy.
It's gonna be shit m8. All the signs point to it.
>worthy
Of what? The mediocre shit that was the original?
I love Ridley Scott, but shit man Blade Runner is the set piece movie to end all set pieces. All style, no substance. And even then the style is just flat camera angles and really awkward action sequences.
Blade Runner 2049 will have more dialogue than the original, but that doesn't mean it will be well written. It will also be set against a blue screen.
Mediocre substance, no style. I guess Blade Runner does look a hell of a lot better compared to what this shit will be.

Watch more movies aren't flavor of the month/capeshit
>I love movies with no character development
You might be interested in a little movie called The Phantom Menace.
>muh character development
spoken like a true pleb
All signs are pointing towards it being good. Stellar cast, talented director, a legendary cinematographer and an excellent composer. You're being cynical. This has potential to be even better than Bladerunner.
>character development
Grow up
>From the director of Prisoners
The most IMDB sensibility film made so far. Anybody who thinks that Prisoners is above mediocre is juvenile about the medium and entirely emblematic of the video game crossposter fueled downfall of this board.
Villeneuve is one of the biggest trashmasters working today. This is hot pocket the movie. Cheeto dust: the flick.
IMDB "FILM BUFF" pleb fodder. If you like this film then you are an enemy of the medium.
>MUH BASED JAKE
>MUH BASED DEAKINS
>MUH DARK THRILLER
>MUH RELIGIOUS SYMBOLISM
All the memes are there, it's shit
Look its the PTA pasta again. Grow up kid. The rest of us are enjoying real film while your stuck ina perpetual cycle of adolescence.
Who is Martin Scorsese???
Sounds dope
>hasn't made a good movie since Bringing Out the Dead
Nolan at least made Memento, which is more effective and better than any of Villeneuve's films
>relies on a single gimmick in order to be anything but a run-of-the-mill murder mystery
Imagine being this fucking contrarian. Sad!
>he thinks any of the leo-scorsese collaborations are good
