What are some good quality NON mumble/xanax rapers?

I'm fucking tired of listening to Kanye, Doom and Nas all the time.

I've been listening to MC Holocaust. There are some rappers trying to revive the original 90s Memphis Rap sound invented by Tommy Wright III and Three 6 Mafia.

Waka Flocka, Lil Uzi, Skepta, Dizzee Rascal, Kamayiah

>mc holocaust

>Waka Flocka
when is that nigga gone done playing minecraft and release flockaveli 2?

Yeah I thought that might be a problem here, she's pretty fucking legit though, harder than most of the male rappers we got now. Hell she even looks like more of a man than most of them.

It's clearly memphis inspired but the blown out production isn't right at all. Should sound like it was recorded in your mama's kitchen.

this shit was memed here a lot when it came out, i think it's pretty great

I mean this kind of rap can be good in theory but just because a rapper is talented doesn’t mean that their work is good, an entire song is more than just listening to a rapper rap. Like if some guitarfag can shred super good and melt faces or whatever but all the other instruments/parts of the music or boring and only accessories to the soloing guitar then the overall song isn’t that great. This fixation on only caring what the rapper does and caring any amount less about the “beats” or everything else is just a waste of potential. If all beats sound the same across songs from multiple artists in a particular genre/subgenre then there’s a problem with it, and literally all of hear SoundCloud mumblerappers have nothing interesting other than the rapper, and at this point even the rappers are overly fixated on image and lifestyle and they insert their ego into every facet of their work. Image should be the last thing on an artist’s mind.

thanks to yall for the tips

I absolutely low Today I Wrote Nothing

I'm propably still a newfag in the genre, so the only guys I heard about from your list are Open Mike Eagle, Milo, Kendrick and Beastie Boys.

Temporary Forever is criminally underrated. I never could get into any other Busdriver but this is probably my favourite hip hop album
